AREA LOCATION Near Dundrum on 12 acres in 1818. Midway between Taney Lodge and
Roebuck Lodge. Now the site of Taney Manor.
MAP LOCATION It is named on both Taylor's Map of 1816 and Duncan's map of 1821.
GENERAL For sale in 1818, described as a 'neat and comfortable house with outhouses,
two gardens and a hot house'. In 1827 described as a commodious house with two grape houses.
In 1921 it was for sale on 7 acres described as having four sitting, seven bedroom and servants room.
It had a yard with coach house and stabling, walled garden, greenhouses, vinery and conservatory.
It was split into two residences by 1933 and the Annaville estate was built.
YEAR BUILT circa 1795
VALUATION In 1890 the valuation was 90l and in the 1901 census it is noted
as having 18 rooms occupied by family.
