MAP LOCATION OSI map of 1898-1913 place it in the townland of Stillorgan Grove and
it is annotated as Lucerne. On later maps it is annotated as Ard na Glaise.
GENERAL Two storey, non-basement detached residence with five bedrooms and four
reception rooms on 2.5 acres of well timbered land with tennis court and orchards. There was also
a summer house and greenhouses on the grounds. The name of the house was changed to Ard na
Glaise circa 1934 and to Los Angeles circa 1966.

VALUATION In 1925 the valuation was 48.10 pounds and in the 1911 census it is noted as
having 10 rooms occupied by family.
