GENERAL                      Detached 6 bedroom house with 3 reception rooms on 2.5 acres in 1963.
It had a vegetable garden and lawn tennis court. Out offices included garaging for three cars, a
summer house, hen house and garden sheds.  30 perches to the front of the house were lost
during the Bray Road widening scheme of 1938 and the Downeys received £300 in compensation.
