NAME Laburnum Lodge
AREA LOCATION Temple Road, Blackrock opposite the Church.
MAP LOCATION OSI maps of 1838-1845 place it in the townland of Blackrock and it is
annotated as Laburnum Lodge.
GENERAL It had large garden and a large cottage on site. The site was cleared in
1875 as the land was required for another purpose. The materials were
sold off which included 17 doors and 20 windows.
