GENERAL Detached three-bay two-storey non basement Victorian residence built as two
blocks on two levels. It has cut-granite sills, and one-over-one timber sash windows. Each block has a
hipped and pitched slate roof. It has a gable roofed porch and a simple double door topped by a semi
elliptical overlight built circa 1875 on land originally leased by the Bentley brothers for the Foxrock
estate.
YEAR BUILT circa 1875
VALUATION In 1890 the valuation was 27 pounds and in the 1911 census it is noted as
having 14 rooms occupied by family.
