GENERAL Semi-detached 18th century town houses. Elm Lawn was run as a private asylum for
ladies by Miss Bernard in the early 1900's. Whilst the 1901 and 1911 census list only 3 & 4 names respectively
on the form, the houses and building forms list 8 and 9 people living there. In 1996 Lynton was incorporated
into Elm Lawn to extend facilities at Dundrum Gym.
