1 William Crozier born circa 1787 married Jane Ledlie circa 1811. William one of the chief
examiners in the Court of Exchequer. Jane died 13.01.1862 aged 76 years at Greenwood,
Co Dublin and William died on 12.12.1872 aged 85 years at 24 Middle Gardiner Street.
1 Jane Crozier eldest daughter of Fortfield Lodge married John Henry Loftie of
Tandragee, Armagh by the Rev Graham P Crozier on 18.09.1838 at Crumlin Church.
2 Sophia Crozier born circa 1815 granted probate on her fathers will in 1872. Sophia
died on 30.01.1893 aged 77 years at 12 Appian Way.
3 William Crozier born circa 1818 BA Vern 1838 MA Vern 1842.
4 Rev James Alexander Crozier born circa 1822 BA Vern 1843 MA Vern 1846. James,
Chaplain to the Forces married Frances Elizabeth Chambers younger daughter of
late William Frederic Chambers MD KCH Physician in Ordinary to the Queen on
15.06.1857 in the Kings Chapel at Gibraltar. James married secondly Emma Caroline
daughter of late Richard Edgecumbe Chevallier of Ipswich on 16.12.1862 at St John’s,
Pembroke Dock. James, Rector of Coston died 28.10.1918 in Leicestershire.
5 Elizabeth Swan Crozier born circa 1824 died 16.05.1845 aged 21 years.
6 Rowley Hall Crozier born circa 1825 died 28.06.1836 aged 11 years.
2 George Crozier 2nd son born 1789 late of Banbridge died on 22.11.1852 at Peterborough,
Upper Canada.
3 Thomas Crozier born circa 1791 of Banbridge and 3 Dominick Street married Mary Darley
daughter of George Darley and Amelia Foot circa 10.12.1823. The family lived at Seafield
from 1858 to 1873. Mary died 26.02.1872 and Thomas died 20.04.1873 aged 82 years both
at Seafield. A painted window and brass tablet to their memory was placed by their children
in St Thomas’ Church in 1876.

2 Thomas Francis Crozier born 22.06.1826 at Dominick Street. Thomas a solicitor died
unmarried on 22.04.1867 at Finglas. Probate to his father Thomas.
3 Echlin Matthews Crozier born 12.09.1827 at Dominick Street. Echlin died 21.05.1841
aged 13 years at Rosey Park near Kingstown and is buried at Mount Jerome.
4 Amelia Darley Crozier born circa 20.02.1829 at 3 Dominick Street married Henry
Malkin Barton of Stone House, Donnybrook on 06.06.1865 at Taney Church. The
family were living at Stone House in 1901. Kathleen Amelia Peacocke niece of
Amelia visiting in 1911.
5 Graham Philip Crozier born circa 14.05.1832 at 3 Dominick Street. Infant Crozier
buried on 22.01.1834 aged 2 years at St Mary’s Church.
6 Jane Elliott Crozier 2nd daughter born circa 1833 married Rev George Campbell
Williams DD, Chaplain HM Forces on 05.12.1877 at Roebuck House (now Roebuck Court)
on the register for Taney Church. They were living at Hastings, 17 Avoca Avenue in 1901
and 1911.
7 Mary Crozier born circa 1835 and died circa 08.03.1837 at Rutland Square and is
buried at Mount Jerome.
8 Major General Henry Darley Crozier born 31.05.1837 at 2 Rutland Square. Henry of
the Royal Engineers married Alice Emily eldest daughter of Henry Farran Darley of
Montpelier on 26.04.1866 at Monkstown Church. Henry late RE died on 11.06.1911
late of Blackheath, Kent. Alice died 01.09.1920 at Blackheath, Kent.
9 Francis Rawdon Moira Crozier youngest son born 21.03.1839 at 2 Rutland Square.
Francis married Katherine Sophia Magee youngest daughter of late Rev William
Magee, Rector of Dunganstown, Wicklow on 08.09.1869 at Monkstown Parish
Church. Katherine died on 16.02.1887 aged 45 years at Roebuck Hall, Dundrum.
Francis head of the firm of Thomas Crozier & Son travelled to the East with his son
because of ill health and unfortunately died in Constantinople, Istanbul, Turkey on
11.03.1902.
1 Kathleen Amelia Crozier born 28.10.1870 at 19 Lower Dominick Street
married Rev Gerald William Peacocke third son of the Most Rev Joseph
Ferguson Peacocke, Lord Bishop of Meath on 15.09.1896 at Monkstown
Parish Church.
2 Daughter Crozier born 15.11.1871 died an infant and was buried on 17.11.1871
at Mount Jerome.
3 Thomas Francis Crozier born 02.11.1872 at 15 Ailesbury Road was a solicitor
and land agent with offices at 14 Ely Place. He married Georgina Maria
Victoria Robinson on 25.07.1899 at Monkstown Parish Church. Georgina died
28.01.1907 and was buried at Deansgrange. Thomas was Hon Sec to the
Stillorgan and Foxrock Horticultural Society in 1912 and ran their annual show
at the paddock in Leopardstown Racecourse.
1 Francis George Crozier born 28 Apr 1901 at Clifton Terrace, Monkstown
married Morna Louise Brooks of Ashfield, Rathfarnham, daughter of
Edward Clive Brooks at Rathfarnham Church on 4 Aug 1831.
2 Ellie Dorothea Crozier born 21 Aug 1902 at Clifton Terrace, Monkstown
married Thomas Odell, son of Thomas Smyth Odell at Taney Church on
5 Sep 1934.
3 Iris Kathleen Crozier second daughter born 19 Aug 1905 at
Avonmore married Charles Hewitt (Hew) Barrington Jellett at Taney
Church on 8 Jan 1931. Hew was a solicitor of Clonard, Dundrum and
the son of Matthew Barrington Jellett.
Thomas secondly married Isabel Morna Pollock on 01.09.1916 at Taney Church.
They lived at Avonmore, Stillorgan from 1905 to 1930. Thomas died 02.03.1930
and was buried at Deansgrange with his first wife. He left nearly 22K in personal
Estate. Isabella died 04.05.1966 aged 84 at Avonbeg, St Thomas's Road, Mount
Merrion and was buried at Deansgrange with her husband.
4 Norma Valerie Crozier married the Rev Edgar Nevill Phair on 29 Apr 1946
at Rathmichael. Norma was resident in Shankill and Edgar was living at
The Palace, Kilkenny.
5 John Derek Crozier born 12 Nov 1917 at Avonmore married Marjorie
Burrows of Killibegs, Co Donegal and daughter of Malcolm Burrows at
All Saint's Church, Newtownpark on 30 Oct 1940.
4 Lieutenant William Magee Crozier born 05.12.1873 at Seafield, Stillorgan.
William a barrister living at Avonmore, Stillorgan in 1901 with brother Francis.
He enlisted as second lieutenant with the 9th Battalion, Royal Inniskilling
Fusiliers. William, a bachelor was killed in action on 01.07.1916 at Thiepval
Department de La Somme, Picardie, France.

living at Sallow Mount, Ballinasloe married Blanche Sylvia Atkinson daughter
of Carleton N Atkinson of 8 Belgrave Square, Monkstown on 11.06.1902 at

6 Francis Rawdon Moira Crozier 4th son born 13.06.1876 at Roebuck House.
Francis was a Solicitor and married Constance Geraldine Millar on 14 Apr 1904 at
Monkstown Church. Constance was the second daughter of Fitzadam Millar a
wine and spirit merchant of Windsor Park, Monkstown. In 1911 they were living
at Kerrymount, Foxrock.
7 Commander Louis Herbert Crozier born 29.12.1877 at Roebuck House. Louis
was on board the Pembroke in 1901 and the St George in 1911. He married
Blanche Anna Maria Dalglish in 1921 in London.
10 Marion Edith Crozier, youngest daughter died a spinster at Hastings, Blackrock on
06.04.1929 aged 88.
11 Arthur Hill Crozier youngest child died 21.02.1846.
4 Charlotte Crozier born 1796 died 30.05.1869 at 2 Sandford Place. Executor Thomas Crozier.
5 Francis Rawdon Moira Crozier born 16.08.1796 at Banbridge Down named after John
Rawdon the 1st Earl of Moira who was a friend of his father George Crozier. Francis entered
the navy in 1810 and was a distinguished Artic voyager. He went on his last expedition as 2nd
in command of the Terror in 1845 under Sir John Franklin to traverse the last unnavigated
section of the Northwest Passage. All are thought to have perished on that expedition.
6 Rev Graham Philip Crozier born circa 1801 Rector of Tawaagh, Prebendary of Kilmacallan
married Anne Robinson circa 1831. Anna died on 08.12.1870 at the Parsonage, Riverstown.
Graham, a widower died 27.10.1872 at 9 Glenart Avenue, Blackrock.
1 Catherine Jane Crozier married William Christian Horsfall of Calverley House,
Yorkshire son of William Horsfall on 05.10.1859 at Riverstown Church in Sligo.
7 Margaret Crozier, youngest daughter married Charles Magee son of William Magee of
Parson's Green.
