Galway circa 13.07.1813.
Elizabeth died circa 24.02.1795 and Ross married secondly Diana Baber daughter of Edward
Baber of Park, Grosvenor Square on 19.09.1805 at St George’s, Hanover Square, London.
4 Ross Mahon born 18.12.1806 baptised at Ahasgagh.
5 Letitia Anne Mahon 2nd daughter married John Adair of Mountjoy Square on 01.09.1843
at Ahascreagh Church.
Diana died on 02.12.1807 and Ross married thirdly Mary Geraldine Fitzgerald daughter of Rt Hon
James Fitzgerald of Inchicronan, Clare on 01.10.1809. Ross was created a Bart on 14.04.1819 and
was an Irish Member of Parliament for Ennis in 1820.
6 Daughter Mahon born circa 27.07.1810 at Molesworth Street.
7 Ross Mahon eldest son born 18.07.1811 at Castlebar, Galway. Ross of the 2nd Battalion
60th Rifles arrived on leave at Booterstown in 1836. In August 1840 Sir Ross Mahon 2nd
Bart returned to his family home after 3 years in the Mediterranean with his regiment
the Royal Rifles and much celebrating was done. He was ADC to the 2nd Earl de Grey the
Lord Lieutenant of Ireland. Sir Ross Mahon died unmarried on 05.04.1842 at 23
Stephen's Green North.
8 James Fitzgerald Ross Mahon 2nd son born circa 03.06.1812 JP and Barrister became 3rd
Baronet on the death of his brother Ross in 1842. James died unmarried on 10.03.1852
at Rawmarsh Rectory in Yorkshire at the residence of his brother Rev William Mahon.
9 Rev William Vesey Mahon Bart 3rd son born circa 1813 became Rector of Rawmarsh
Yorkshire married Jane King daughter of Rev Henry King and became 4th Baronet in 1852
on the death of his brother James. Rev Sir William Vesay Ross Mahon died circa 19.08.1893
aged 80 years. He was succeeded by William Henry Mahon.
10 John Ross Mahon born 09.05.1814. John was one of the founders of Guinness Mahon
with Robert Rundell Guinness. John died unmarried on 05.06.1887 aged 73 years late
of Weston, Galway.
11 Henrietta Louisa Mahon born circa 25.08.1820 married James Leslie Foster son of late
Baron Foster on 04.12.1845 at the residence of the Hon Lady Mahon at Stephen's Green.
