Robert J Heinekey born circa 1793 married Sarah Marshall at St James' Parish on
29.10.1827. Their witnesses were William Sparling & David Forsyth.
Robert established a wine merchants at Sackville street and was the proprietor of the
Bilton Hotel at 51 Upper Sackville Street (now O’Connell Street) from at least 1836.
Robert took his own life in April 1846 at the Abbot Hotel on Princes Street. Sarah died
19 Dec 1860 aged 64 at Leinster Road, Rathmines. Both are buried at Mount Jerome.
1 Lewis Anthony Heinekey born circa 1826 married Elizabeth Margaret Lawless
daughter of the late Dennis Lawless of Rathmines on 2 Jan 1849 at St Peters,
Dublin and afterwards at the Malborough Street Chapel. Lewis was a wine
merchant at 56 Sackville Street, advertised as established in 1814. He sold
brandies and champagne, supplied hampers for the Punchestown races and
described himself as being late of High Holborne. He took over the running
of the Bilton Hotel in Sackville Street after the death of his father. In 1861 he
moved to larger premises at 62 Sackville Street and his brother in law John
McCurdy took charge of the design. Lewis died on 7 Feb 1877 and was buried at
Mount Jerome. His executors anounced that business would carry on as normal.
By 1884 the business was trading as Heinekey and Anderson and had been
purchased by John Anderson. The Heinekey family lived at Rockfield from
1876 to 1880.

2 Alice Mary Heinekey born circa 1857 married Edward Lanfair Lewes of Bootle
Liverpool at St Johns Monkstown 5 Jan 1881. Alice died onboard the
SS Roumelia on Easter Eve the 24 of March 1894 and she is remembered on
the headstone of her grandparents at Mt Jerome.
3 Ernest William Heinekey died 29 Apr 1859 aged 5 weeks.

2 Mary Heinekey, eldest daughter married Benjamin Greer of Londonderry on
3 May 1848 at Rathfarnham Church. Benjamin was the proprietor of the Imperial
Hotel. Benjamin died 26 Aug 1852 aged about 34 at his residence in Bishop Steet,
Derry.
1 Elizabeth Greer born 8 Feb 1849 at the Imperial Hotel, Derry lived with her
aunt Lucy and died late at Brigton Tce on 15 Nov 1924.
2 Son Greer born 10 Mar 1850 at Derry.
3 Robert Alexander Greer born 1853 died 11 Jan 1854 aged 10 months.
3 Robert Heinekey, second son married Eliza Ann Buxton, only daughter of the late
Ambrose Britain Buxton of Liverpool on 2 Non 1853 at Walton-on-the-Hill. He
dissolved his partnership in linen manufacturing with JC Hodges in 1856 and set
up a Hemp and Canvas Merchants 20 Harp Street, London with his brother
George.
1 George Marshall Heinekey of Sunniside, eldest son married Caroline (Carrie)
Rex, eldest child of George Rex of Hunters Home Knysna at Knysna, Cape
Colony on 24 Feb 1881.

4 Elzabeth Heinekey (Lizzie), second daughter born circa 1829 married James Joseph
Farrell a Veterinary Surgeon of 94 Harcourt Street at Rathfarnham 8 Jun 1850.
James was the consulting veterinary surgeon to the Lord Lietenant, the Earl of
Carlisle and was appointed Veterinary surgeon to the Constabulary Force in
Ireland in 1855. He had offices and a livery stables at 42 Wicklow Street from 1857.
He was appointed to the honorary office of VS to the Royal Agricultural Society in
1862 but in 1866 he was bankrupt. James died 2 Sep 1869 at Sandymount and
Lizzie died 14 Mar 1910 at Bayswater Tce, Kingstown.
1 James J Farrell born circa 1857 became articled to his uncle John
McCurdy and set up his own practice in Dublin (MRIAI) in 1883. He married
Mary Jane Elizabeth Ireland, eldest daughter of James Ireland of 38 Clyde Road
at St Peter's Church on 14 Oct 1886. He had offices at 6 Westmoreland street
from 1892 to 1906. He re-designed the Star Theatre (Olympia) in 1892, he also
designed the Slieve Donard Hotel and Kelly's Hotel in Rosslare. In 1904 he
bought Rosslare House on 433 acres devoting 58 acres to the Rosslare Golf
Links which opened in 1905. He was declared bankrupt in 1906. James died
on 7 Sep 1911 late of 124 Upper Rathmines, at Belfast aged 54.

5 Lucy Heinekey born circa 1835 in Dublin married John McCurdy, Civil Engineer
and Architect at Rathfarnham on 14 Oct 1857. John died 12 Sep 1885 aged 61 and
Lucy died on 14 Aug 1925 at Brighton Terrace aged 93. Both are buried at
Deansgrange.
1 Mary Agatha McCurdy, only daughter born circa 1858 married Adam Seaton
Findlater, a wine merchant of Uplands, Monkstown and son of John Findlater.
Adam died 19 Jan 1911 and Mary moved in to Brighton Tce with her mother.
She died 22 Jul 1927 and was buried with her parents.
1 Seaton McCurdy Findlater born 23 Apr 1886 at Uplands Monkstown
married Dorothy Brierly.
1 Wanda Mary born 12 Jul 1889 at Chesterfield, Ballybrack married
Alexander Hart Parry.
6 George Marshall Heinekey dissolved his partnership with John Winkfield in cement
manufacturing in 1855. He married Eliza Urmson, second daughter of Daniel
Urmson on 2 Oct 1860 at St Michael-in-the-Hamlet, Liverpool. Eliza died 8 Aug 1868
at 5 Angell Park Garden Brixton aged 27. George secondly married Annie Evans
daughter of the late C Gibbs of Piccadilly, at St Barnabas, Kensington on 21 Sep 1871.
1 Lucie Heinekey, eldest daughter born on 11 Jul 1872 at 9 Balham-park-road,
upper Tooting married William Findlater, fourth son of John Findlater and
Mary Johnson on 4 May 1891.
2 Edith Heinekey married John Findlater of Texas USA, second son of John
Findlater and Mary Johnson at St Mark's Church, South Norwood on
