Thomas Gill from Wicklow married Margaret Carroll from Wicklow on 5 Nov 1860 at Kilquade. Thomas
a labourer and Margaret lived at Dundrum and Galloping Green and were living in Kilmacud by 1889.
Margaret died at Kilmacud on 10 Jan 1902 and was buried at Deansgrange with her two sons. Thomas,
late of Patrick Street, Westside, Kingstown died at the workhouse in Loughlinstown on 3 May 1915 and
was buried with his wife. Bernard Broe made the funeral arrangements.

2 John Gill born 8 Feb 1866 in Dundrum died 18 Mar 1879 at Galloping Green and was buried
at Deansgrange.
3 Margaret born 31 Jul 1869 at Galloping Green.
4 Sarah Gill born at Galloping Green 8 Feb 1871 at Galloping Green. Sarah married Phelim
O'Brien at Kilmacud Church on 8 May 1892. Phelim was a labourer and son of Phelim Brien.
5 Richard Gill born 2 Jun 1872 died 9 Jun 1872 at Galloping Green and was buried in
Deansgrange.
6 Catherine (Kathleen) Gill born 5 May 1873 at Galloping Green. She married Bernard Broe a
stone carver, and son of Bernard Broe a stone cutter at Holy Cross Church on 21 Apr 1898.
They both gave their residence as 4 Grove Villas which it thought to be 4 Grove View, The Hill,
Stillorgan.
7 Julia Gill born 12 Mar 1875 at Galloping Green married James Nolan of 92 Great Britain
Street and son of John Nolan, a provisions merchant at St Laurence O’Toole Church, Kilmacud on
25 Jun 1898.
8 Ellen Gill born 9 Jun 1877 at Galloping Green married Thomas Robinson of Whitechurch,
Rathfarnham son of Thomas Robinson and Rosanna Gilmore at Dundrum RC Church on
6 May 1894.
