Phelim Brien of Bray son of Phelim Brien, a labourer of Bray married Sarah Gill of Kilmacud daughter
of Thomas Gill in 1892. Witnesses: William Murphy and Catherine Gill. They lived at 27 Hudson's
Terrace in Bray in 1901 and Thomas Brien also with a son Phelim lived next door. Phelim was an
Electric Arc Lamp Trimmer in 1899 and died of TB in 1902. Sarah returned to Stillorgan on the death
of her husband. Sarah, a widow in 1911 was living at Kilmacud Road and four of her five children had
survived. She was working as a char woman.

2 Margaret (Maggie) Brien born 14.03.1895 at Maitland Street, Bray, living with her mother in 1911.
3 Phelim Brien born 14.03.1897 at Hudsons Terrace, Bray. Phelim was working as a gardener's
assistant in 1901. Phelim, a married ex-soldier died at Stillorgan 14 Aug 1928 and was buried at
Deansgrange.
4 Sarah O’Brien born 21.02.1899 at Hudsons Terrace, Bray. Sarah of Stillorgan married Martin
Keeley an ex Soldier of Baggot Street son of Patrick Keeley on 17.09.1919 at Holy Cross Chapel,
Dundrum. Witnesses: Michael Goodwin and Mary Robinson.
