The Harold’s Cross Walking Trail Map & Guide was produced by Dublin City Council in partnership with the Harold’s Cross Community Festival and copies will be available for all on the day.
Going Wild on Sandymount Strand

Join Éanna Ní Lamhna, author of Wild Dublin and wildlife contributor to RTÉ and TV3, for a leisurely stroll along Sandymount Strand before exploring the wonderful biodiversity of Irishtown Nature Reserve.
Going Wild along the Dodder
Saturday, 11th June at 2pm
Meeting Point: Car Park next to the Dropping Well Pub, Milltown Road, Milltown, Dublin 6.
On this nature walk, Éanna Ní Lamhna will take you along by the River Dodder which is a haven for wildlife including duck, heron, kingfisher, cormorant, otter and mink.
Liberties 1916 Walk.
Date: Wednesday the 22nd June Time: 1.30pm.
Starting at one of Dublin’s oldest Charities, The Mendicity Institution on Island Street, Dublin 8, this walk will take in sites of importance to the 1916 Rising in the Liberties area including the Mendicity Insitution, South Dublin Union, Marrowbone Lane, Watkins Brewery and other sites that featured prominently in 1916 before finishing at St Catherine’s Church Thomas Street for a cuppa.
