About the Meitheal"We are inviting users of the site to transcribe, on a voluntary basis, the stories that were collected as part of the Schools’ Collection. We hope that this work will increase community participation in the project and that it will improve accessibility of the material as well.
This will also result in the ability to search the text of transcribed stories in their entirety as opposed to viewing the manuscripts as images only."
