1938-1964 Electoral registers are removed from Heritage Database at the Dublin City Airchives
1908-1915 registers survived the cull so I can only suppose that the DPC have imposed a 100 year rule. The register lists a name and an address and genealogists or those researcing their family history usually use to verify an address and an age (you had to be over 21 to vote).
Not sure how this infomation would be used by frausters, which is the normal reason for this type of information to be taken down.
According to Dublin City Archives "At this stage we do not have any plans to put online parts of the database again."
