Patrick Traynor, born circa 1848 in County Wicklow was a labourer living at Coolattin and the
son of Denis Traynor, a gardener when he married Anastatia Deegan, daughter of William
Deegan, a labourer at Tomacork Chapel, Shillelagh on 22 Oct 1869. Anastatia and Patrick
lived at 22 Pimlico from 1901 to 1906. Patrick was a brewery labourer and died 22 Oct 1906
at 22 Pimlico. Anastatia died at 1 Meath square on 26 Feb 1915.
1 Alice Traynor born 23 Sep 1870 at Ballynulta, Coolattin was working as a servant in
Burlington Road in 1901.
2 Anne Traynor born 14 Apr 1872 at Ballynulta, Coolattin.
3 Denis Traynor born 6 Jun 1873 at 33 Cuffe Street, Dublin was a mercantile clerk in a
tobacco factory in 1901.
4 Maria Traynor born 20 Jul 1875 at 44 Charlemont Street.
5 Margaret Traynor born May 1877 at 44 Charlemont Street married Andrew Lee at
Cabinteely Church on 18 Feb 1906. Both Margaret and Andrew were working at
Erinvillagh in Foxrock, he as a gardener and she as a domestic servant. They lived at
Tipperstown House on Brewery Road.
6 William Traynor born 12 Jun 1879 at Richmond Place joined Guinness on 13 Apr 1893
aged 14. He was living at 5 Chaworth Tce, Ushers Quay, an locomotive engine driver
for Guinness’ in 1911 and living at 40 Bellview buildings in 1915. He married Catherine
O’Keefe, daughter of John O’Keefe on 30 Oct 1912 at St Michans. William died
22 Apr 1964.
7 Michael Traynor born 21 Sep 1885 at 4 Brandon Tce joined Guinness’ when he was 14 and
was a cross channel labourer. He married Christine Bolton, daughter of Jacob Bolton of 16
Brighton Road at St Joseph’s Church, Terenure on 13 Dec 1914. He died 16 Dec 1966.
8 Ellen Traynor born 22 Jan 1888 at 4 Brandan Tce was a domestic servant in 1911 working for
Octavius Henry Braddell at Eglington Road. Ellen married John Kinsella on 5 Aug 1915 at
Donnybrook.
9 Catherine Traynor born 10 Nov 1890 at 1 Basin Lane lower was a domestic servant in 1911
working for Octavius Henry Braddell at Eglington Road. Catherine married John Francis
Kennedy at St Catherines on 16 Aug 1915.

Patrick Traynor, born circa 1848 in County Wicklow was a labourer living at Coolattin and the
