George Moore married Rachel Carr on 24 Dec 1849 at Derrylossary Church, Rathdrum.
George was resident at Ballinastoe and the son of Henry Moore, a farmer. Rachel was
the daughter of William Carr, a labourer and was living at Old Bridge. Witnesses: John
Moore & Jonathan Carr. The family moved to the Dargle Road where George died on
3 Dec 1886. Rachael, a charwoman died at the RDL, Dublin, late of Loughlinstown on
24 Feb 1902.

2 Susan Moore born 2 Aug 1866 at Claramore, Wicklow was a cook at Brookvale,
Stillorgan in 1901 working for Sara Anne Harkness and her daughter Maud. She
was living at 6 Adelaide Road, Kingstown and married James McClatchie on
26 Apr 1904 at St Paul’s Church, Glenageary. James was a coachman living at
Rockfield, Ballybrack and was the son of William McClatchie, a gardener/
nurseryman of Alma Nurseries. They lived at Vevay Lodge owned by Miss
Georgina Tottingham in 1911. Susan died 19 Mar 1936 at the Rest for the
Dying in Dublin late of 183 Rathmines Road. James died on 31 Mar 1957 at
Hampstead, Glasnevin late of Dun Laoghaire.
1 William George McClatchie born 17 Jan 1905 at Vevay Lodge. He was an
insurance official and married Evelyn Florence Black on 2 Jul 1930 at
Harold’s Cross Church. Evelyn was the daughter of John James Black.
William died at the Royal City of Dublin Hospital on 1 Apr 1968 late of 34
Ashton Park, Monkstown. He was buried at Deansgrange.
2 James Charles McClatchie born 8 Jul 1907 at Vevay, Ballybrack moved
to England. In 1939 he was a motor transport driver, married and living
with his wife Patricia at 128 Stapleford Lane, Beeston in Nottinghamshire.
He died in 1971 at Basford, Nottinghamshire.
3 George Moore born 8 Aug 1869 at Vevay Road, Bray married Barbara Tucker
circa 1896 and they were living at Thomas Street in 1911 and George was a
labourer. George worked for the Corporation Cleansing Department and they
lived at 59 Stella Gardens from 1932. Barbara died at Stella Gardens aged 67
on 21 Dec 1945 and George died same place on 6 Mar 1958. His daughter
Evelyn Reid the informant and his funeral service was held at St Matthews,
Irishtown.

2 Adelaide Moore born 8 Sep 1899 at 2 Turners Cottages, Shelbourne Road.
3 Josephine Barbara (Barbra) Moore born 23 Jul 1901 at 2 Turners Cottages.
Barbara married Frederick George Mervyn Winder on 7 Dec 1938.
Frederick was a retired bank official of 21 Strand Road, Sandymount and
the son of Robert Winder, a bank official.
4 George Moore born 30 Jul 1903 at 14 Thomas Street.
5 Edward Moore born 2 Jan 1906 at Pidgeon House Road.
6 Rachel (Emily) Moore born 1 Nov 1907 at 33 Pidgeon House Road. Evelyn
married Stephen Henry Reid on 19 Dec 1932 at St Mathews Church.
Stephen was a labourer from 18 St Brendan’s Terrace, Irishtown and the
son of Thomas James Reid, a labourer.
