1 Harriette Jane Pendleton 2nd daughter born circa 1834 married John Reid a Barrister
son of Robert Reid MD on 01.02.1855 at Trim. Harriett died on 16.11.1887 aged 53
years at Headford Cottage, Avoca Avenue, Blackrock.
2 Henry L Pendleton eldest son born circa 1836 died of dysentery on 12.05.1854 aged
18 years at Beechworth, Australia.
3 Richard Warren Pendleton born circa 1841, second surviving son was a pupil of Dr
Steeven's Hospital. He was admitted licentiate to the College of Physicians and certified
to practice in 1866. He took a job as medical officer fo the Stillorgan Division at a salary
of £90 per annum later that year. He was obliged to live in the area and took a lease
on Eagle Lodge on Carysfort Avenue. As well as the usual duties he was also the
registrar at Stillorgan for Births, Deaths and Marriages.
He tendered his resignation in 1873 and commenced a practice in Liverpool. He
married Martha Christina Haig Thompson youngest daughter of late Wm Thompson,
Waterloo, Liverpool on 26.02.1874 at Christ Church, Toxteth Park, Liverpool. He
moved to Australia and took up the appointment of Medical Office to the Prison and
Police service in Port Augusta. He was involved in a carriage accident which
damaged his spine. Martha died on 12.12.1888 at Mount Lofty, Port Augusta, South
Australia. Richard moved to England and started a convalescent home in Brighton. He
died on 04.03.1899 aged 58 years at Sillwood Lodge, Brighton.
1 Alaine Mary de Burgh Pendleton born circa 1875 married Arthur Holland
Gaylord circa 1898 at Paddington.
4 Edmund B. Philip Pendleton youngest son born circa 1849 died on 13.12.1866 aged
17 years.
5 Letitia Maria Florence Pendleton married Rev Thomas Kemmis, Rector of Mountcharles,
Donegal and son of George Kemmis on 13.06.1877 at Booterstown Church. Thomas died on
18.07.1892 aged 53 years at Clonmel and Letitia died on 03.06.1897 at 2 Adelaide Street,
Kingstown.
1 William Gilbert Kemmis born 18.09.1880 at Manbergh, Killoran.
6 Martha Mary Charlotte Pemberton, youngest daughter born circa 1847 died aged 21 at
Blackrock on 24.11.1868.
