Public Works married Katherine Stella Mason daughter of Rev Thomas Wall Mason of Elm
Grove, Blackrock on 24.08.1876 at All Saints Parish Church, Blackrock. The family lived in
Westmeath. James accidently drowned on 17.12.1920 at Mosstown aged 69 years

Francis married Eileen Frances Jane Bunbury Chester daughter of William Lichfield
Chester on 26.04.1905 at St Johns Church, Peshawar, Bengal. Francis a Major late Indian
Army died on 09.03.1924 aged 47 years at the Diamond, Malahide
2 Henry Kingstone Murray 2nd son born 03.06.1881 at Swinford, Mayo a Civil Engineer
of Westin Lodge, Clonmel married Thetis Viola Gwendolene Lewis daughter of Bridges
George Lewis of Sandbrook, Carlow on 02.10.1909 at All Saints Church, Aghade, Carlow.

James Watson Murray died pre the birth of his son on 24.01.1851 and Anna Maria Kingstone Murray a
Widow married George Henry Hackett a Solicitor of Waterloo Road son of late Rev Thomas Hackett of
Boyle on 25.09.1856 at St Peter’s Church. Anna Maria died in 1877 in London and George living at 27
Idrone Terrace, Blackrock married Maria Tyner 2nd daughter of late Rev Richard Legge Tyner, Rector
of Annaghdown, Galway on 18.10.1885 at St Stephen’s Church, Dublin. Mary and Muriel were living
at Howth in 1911.
1 Muriel Ermytrude Hackett born 13.05.1891 at 27 Idrone Terrace. Blackrock died unmarried of
TB on 15.05.1920 aged 28 years at the RDL Asylum. Muriel is buried with her parents at
Deansgrange.
George died on 07.02.1892 aged 70 years at 27 Idrone Terrace, Blackrock and is buried at Deansgrange.
Informant: James W Murray, stepson. Maria died on 17.12.1940 of Dorset Street, Dublin and is buried at
Deansgrange.
