years at Lower Mount Street and is buried at St Kevins Cemetery. Ambrose a Linen
Draper of Molesworth Street late of 22 Capel Street was an insolvent debtor in 1836.

Ambrose William Minchin aged 47 years a Draper and Widower married Mary Anna Prior
aged 21 years daughter of Charles Prior on 09.06.1856 at St Barnabas’ Church, Liverpool. In
the 1861 Census Ambrose a Store Keeper aged 57 was living with his wife Mary and Mother
-in-law Anna Prior at 14 Peru Street, Salford, Lancashire. In November 1872 Mary his
daughter placed an advertisement in the Sheffield Daily Telegraph looking for her father
Ambrose Michin who was last heard of in 1857. Ambrose a Widower aged 77 a Draper from
Ireland was a patient at 207 Plymouth Grove, Chorlton upon Medlock, Chorlton, Lancashire
in the 1881 English Census.
2 Frances Minchin baptised 1806. Frances of 37 Grafton Street married Henry Goodisson of
Kilcormuck son of William Goodison on 27.11.1856 at St Anne’s Church, Dublin. Simeon
Rawson was a witness. Frances died on 25.02.1895 aged 93 years and Henry died on
09.09.1904 aged 91 years both at Wynnstay, Roebuck late of Gorryduff Wexford where they
were staying with the Forster family.
3 Jane Minchin baptised on 13.03.1808. Jane of D’Olier Street married Isaac Rennie (Reany)
MD of Camden Street on 29.04.1836 at St Peter’s Church. Jane a Widow died on 10.03.1895
aged 87 years at Havelock House, Rathgar and is buried with her sister Charlotte Eland at
Mount Jerome.
1 William Goodison Rennie baptised 18.10.1837 at Cathedral Church of St Peter and St
Paul in Sheffield. William died aged 21 years in June 1858 at Brass River, Africa.
2 Francis Henry Rennie born 09.08.1840 of Scotland Road died 26.08.1841 aged 12
months and is buried at St Mary’s Cemetery Merseyside
4 Margaret Minchin 3rd daughter baptised December 1809 married Samuel Goodisson Surgeon
(brother Henry) of Enniscorthy on 27.02.1838 at St Mark’s Church. Witness Mary Elizabeth
Minchin and John Goodisson. Margaret died on 22.06.1876 aged 66 years Samuel died on
22.04.1879 aged 72 years and both at Slaney Place, Enniscorthy.

and Charlotte died on 26.03.1888 aged 77 years both at 9 Waterloo Place, Donnybrook. They
are buried at Mount Jerome.
