Dr Eugene Le Clerc of The Stillorgan Dispensary.
Dr Eugene Le Clerc was a native of France but studied, graduated and practiced in Ireland.
He was churchwarden of Booterstown in 1856. He was medical office for Blackrock/Booterstown
from 1846 to 1857 which included Stillorgan from 1851. In 1857 he resigned and went as Medical
Officer to the Constabulary based at the Phoenix Park. In 1851 he maried Anna Maria Crampton
the daughter of Philip Crampton, MD, Surgeon in ordinary to Her Majesty in Ireland. Eugene was
the son of Joseph Le Clerc, a magistrate of 14 Merrion Square. Eugene died 8 Sep 1884 at Wilton
Tce aged 82 and Anna Maria died at Wilton Tce 27 Sep 1886 aged 1882.
