Thomas Kinsella a bricklayer from Blackrock son of William Kinsella married Jane Kenny of Stillorgan
daughter of Patrick Kenny in 1883. Witnesses: William Kinsella and Mary Kenny. The family lived at
Woodview cottage from 1897 and Thomas was involved in the rebuilding of St John of God's after the
fire in 1908.

1 Richard William Kinsella born 11.05.1884 at Stillorgan. Richard was deaf and dumb and
worked as a boot and shoemaker from Woodview cottage from 1901 to 1910. He was
in the Richmond Asylum in 1911 and died a bachelor on 11 May 1951 at Grange Gorman.
2 Patrick Joseph Kinsella 2nd son born 29.10.1886 at Stillorgan a bricklayer of Glenalbyn
Cottages married Elizabeth Brady of Kilmacud Road daughter of James Brady on
17.01.1910 at Kilmacud Chapel. Witnesses: Charles Kenny and Julia Brady. Patrick died
on 04.08.1911 aged 24 years at Woodview Cottage, Stillorgan and is buried at
Deansgrange. Informant Mary Kinsella, sister.
Elizabeth Kinsella a widow married John Cassidy, a labourer of Dublin Road, Stillorgan
and son of Patrick Cassidy on 03.06.1918 at Kilmacud Chapel. Witnesses: Richard Brady
and Mary Carroll.

2 Maria Cassidy born 09.12.1920 and died aged 20 years at 7 Kilmacud Road on
11.07.1940 and is buried in Deansgrange with her grandparents. Informant John

3 Jane Frances Kinsella born 25.05.1888 and died 14.0.2.1889 aged 8 months at Stillorgan
and is buried at Deansgrange.
4 Mary Margaret Kinsella born circa 1891. Mary a dressmaker died of TB on 25.01.1922 aged
29 years at Woodview Cottage, Stillorgan and is buried at Deansgrange.
5 William Kinshella born 21.03.1892 at Stillorgan and died 22.08.1893 of typhoid aged 1 year
5 months at Woodview Cottage, Stillorgan.
6 Thomas Leo Kinsella born 07.11.1894 at Stillorgan. Thomas a builder of Stillorgan married
Emily Isobel Thompson of Stillorgan daughter of James Thompson on 19.07.1920 at
Kilmacud Chapel. Witnesses: Robert Reynolds and Mary Kinsella. When his son is born in
1921, he gives his occupation as ex-soldier. Thomas died of TB on 20.05.1939 aged 43
years at St Columcille's Hospital late of 3 Dublin Road, Stillorgan and is buried at
Deansgrange. Emily died 16 Jan 1945 aged 45 at the Meath Hospital late of 3 Dublin Road,
Stillorgan and is buried at Deansgrange.
