Anne Longworth nee Phillips daughter of Henry Phillips and widow of George Longworth of
Craggan Castle on 04.06.1839 at St Peter’s Church, Dublin. George Longworth had died by his
own hand in February 1827. The family lived at Peafield House from 1850 to 1885. Parnell died
on 29.04.1869 aged 65 years and Anne died on 07.06.1885 aged 89 years at Peafield House.
Catherine Phillips sister of Anne and daughter of Henry died on 27.02.1881 at Peafield House.
2 Rev Michael Neville Kearney born circa 1806 educated Trinity College Curate of Caledon married
Rebecca Major youngest daughter of late Alexander Major of Portstewart on 03.04.1839 at
Derrygortreav Church. Michael was the Incumbent of Omeath, Diocese of Armagh. Michael died
on 24.03.1860 at the Parsonage Omeath and Rebecca died on 29.04.1883 aged 73 years at her
residence of 65 Upper Leeson Street.
1 Rev Alexander James Major Kearney born circa 1841 educated at Trinity College married
Margaret Anne (Meta) Rideley only surviving daughter of late Thomas Yeates Rideley of
Heysham, Lancashire on 03.01.1872 at St John’s Church, Sligo. Alexander the incumbent of
Sligo became the Dean of Elphin died on 08.04.1912 aged 70 years at St John’s Church. By
1931 Margaret Anne was living with her daughter Annie in Yorkshire and died on 25.11.1934
at Kingston upon Hull, Yorkshire.

of Clydeville, Mallow who was living at Woodview, Stillorgan at the time of her marriage on
10.05.1876 at Stillorgan Parish Church. Witnesses: J Kenney Herbert and Michael Neville
Kearney. They were living at Marton Vicarage, Ousebum, Yorkshire in 1901. Neville died
10.10.1911 aged 66 years at 101 Lower Baggot Street and is buried at Deansgrange. In 1931
Henrietta was living.
3 Penelope Major Kearney born circa 1847 living with her brother Michael in 1891.
4 Rev Michael Neville Kearney born circa 1848 Incumbent of St John’s, Clover Hill, Cavan
married Edith Manby 2nd daughter of late Rev E F Manby on 06.02.1878 at the Parish Church,
Morecambe, Lancashire. Michael was appointed as Vicar of Rowley Regis in Dudley in 1891.
Michael the British Chaplain at Antwerp and formerly Rector of Oulton died on 17.01.1910
aged 61 years at St Boniface’s Parsonage, Rue Gretry, Antwerp.
