1 Mary Huff married Thomas Bradley 2 May 1872 at Kilkenny.
2 John Huff, born circa 1838 at Kilkenny City, a quarryman/stonecutter and labourer
married Anne Keys, daughter of Thomas Keys on 19 Jul 1877 at Goresbridge,
Kilkenny. John died 7 Oct 1919. Anne died 7 Nov 1923.
1 Thomas Huff born circa 1881 at Lowgrange married Margaret Murphy,
daughter of James Murphy, Labourer at Ballinkilleen, Borris, Carlow on 23 Oct 1923.
Thomas died in 1941.
2 William Huff born 10 Apr 1886 moved to Stillorgan and worked as a cowman at
Stillorgan Park House. He died suddenly at the cowhouse there on 7 Feb 1928.
The inquest found for cardiac arrest after a bout of pneumonia. A bachelor, he was
buried at Deansgrange.
3 John Huff born circa 1887 at Kilkenny was working as a butler at Stillorgan Park
House. He married Kathleen Farrell, daughter of Edward Farrell a carpenter of
Co Westmeath at St John the Baptist Church, Blackrock on 1 Feb 1912. Kathleen
was working as a housemaid at Stillorgan Park House. John worked there as a
butler. He subsequently worked as a gardener and van driver and died
30 Jun 1919 at St Michael’s Hospital. Catherine died 13 Dec 1920, at Kilmacud,
Stillorgan. Her sister Alice Farrell was the informant. Both John and Catherine
were buried at Deansgrange.
1 John Joseph Huff born 12 Dec 1913 at Tyrellspass, Mullingar was orphaned
aged seven and remained in Co Westmeath. Little is known about his early
life. He worked for Rathdown Council and married Mary Ellen Ward. They
lived at Cullen's Cottages and relocated to 79 Patrician Villa's when their
house was demolished to make way for the building of Stillorgan Shopping
Centre and had a family. Both Mary Ellen and John Joseph are buried at
Deansgrange close to the Hoff family.
2 Edward Hoff born circa 1915 joined the Free State Army. He was resident at
Belmont Camp, Cobh when he married Josephine Mary Murray daughter of
James Murray and Mary Anne Gaskin on 26 Dec 1944 at Kilmacud Chapel.
Witnesses: John Hoff and Joseph Murray. The lived at St Fintan's Park and had
a family. Edward died 26.02.1968 at 5 St Fintan's Park, Deansgrange aged 54
and Josephine died 19.02.1978 at 5 St Fintans Park, Deansgrange aged 59
years and both were buried at Deansgrange.
3 William Huff born 2 Apr 1917 at Stillorgan died 2 Apr 1917 at Cullen’s
Cottages, Stillorgan.
4 Kathleen Mary Huff born 2 Oct 1919 at Stillorgan died 17 May 1920 at Cullen’s
Cottages, Stillorgan.
4 James Huff born 21 May 1889 at Goresbridge died a bachelor at Goresbridge on
20 Apr 1925.
