John Gaskin born circa 1836 son of James and Margaret Gaskin of Kill of the Grange married
Margaret Foley daughter of Patrick and Rosanna Foley in 1861. Witnesses George Tuft and
Catherine Cavanagh. John was a labourer and they lived variously at Deansgrange and Newtown
Park. Margaret died 19.12.1887 at Newtown Park and was buried at Deansgrange. John died
17.08.1910 aged 64 at 2 Crampton's Cottages, Monkstown Farm and was buried at
Deansgrange.
1 James Gaskin born circa 1862, a labourer married Margaret Keating daughter of Michael
Keating of Jolly's Lane, Stillorgan at Booterstown Chapel on 26.08.1888. John died
06.06.1923 at Grangegorman. He was buried at Deansgrange late of Newtown Park.
Margaret died 01.09.1939 aged 72 at St Kevin's Hospital, late of Orchard Lane and was
buried at Deansgrange.

Richard Phoenix, a sailor of Yankee Terrace, Newtown Park son of Richard

1 Josephine Mary Murray born 18.06.1920 at Newtown Park married
Edward Hoff, a member of the Free State Army, and son of John Hoff, a
butler working at Stillorgan Park House, at Kilmacud Church on
26.12.1944. Josephine was living at 30 Beaufield at the time of her
marriage and Edward was based at the Belmont Camp in Cobh.

Crimmins of Annville Avenue, Blackrock daughter of Thomas Crimmins on
09.09.1919 at the Roman Catholic Church in Blackrock. Witnesses: Richard
