Their son Joseph married Elinor Maxwell daughter of Richard Maxwell a merchant of Pill Lane on
25 Apr 1795. Joseph Hone born circa 1775 son of Joseph a JP of Mountjoy Square, 47 Harcourt
Street and Rockfield, Co Dublin. Joseph, a solicitor was elected to the RDS in 1799. A member of
the Ouzel Galley, director of the Corn Exchange Buildings and the Dublin Drogheda Railway
Company.
1 Joseph William Hone eldest son baptised 23.11.1797 at Eustace Street. Joseph a surgeon
died circa 20.03.1824 aged 27 years in Harcourt Street.
2 Elizabeth Hone eldest daughter married James Vaughan circa 21.07.1821 in London. James
died and Elizabeth of Harcourt Street married John Galloway Jun of North Cumberland Street
on 19.10.1827 at St George’s Church. John Galloway was the solicitor handling the sale of
Rockfield in 1836.
3 Richard Hone baptised 21.02.1799 at Eustace Street.
Joseph secondly married Mary Crosthwaite, 2nd daughter of Leland Crosthwaite of Dollymount circa
09.04.1803. Joseph died 28.09.1857 at Harcourt Street aged 82.
4 Ann Hone 3rd daughter baptised 11.02.1804 at Eustace Street married her cousin Brindley
Hone son of Addison Hone on 08.09.1823 at Harcourt Street according to the rites of the
Unitarian Church. Brindley died 14.02.1862 aged 66 years and Anne died 13.02.1896 both at
Vevay, Ballybrack.
5 Lucy Hone baptised 27.07.1805 at Eustace Street married John Dyas of Berford, Meath on
18.02.1833 at St Peter’s Church.
6 Nathaniel Hone baptised 07.09.1806 at Eustace Street. Nathaniel married Anna Maria
Mangin daughter of late Samuel Henry Mangin at the Church of Mawgan, St Columb,
Cornwall on 07.03.1839. He purchased land at Coldwinters for 20k in 1863 and further
lands there in 1873 for 3K. Nathaniel of St Doulough’s Park died on 13.02.1880 aged 73
years at the Grand Hotel, Paradis, Nice and is buried in Nice. He left 70K in personal estate.
Anna Maria died 14.10.1895 aged 76 years at St Doulagh’s Park and left 23k in personal
Estate. Nathaniel Hone RHA (1831 to 1917) later lived at St Doulagh's Park.
7 Leland Crostwaite Hone baptised 16.08.1807 at Eustace Street. Leland a Barrister died circa
02.05.1838.
8 William Jackson Hone baptised 04.09.1808 at Eustace Street. William an English Barrister
died on 21.04.1846 aged 37 years in London and is buried at St John’s Wood Cemetery.
9 Eleanor Hone baptised 29.10.1809 at Eustace Street.
10 Susannah Hone baptised 03.12.1810 at Eustace Street.
11 Thomas Hone baptised 18.06.1812 at Eustace Street.
12 Thomas Crosthwaith Hone 3rd son baptised 29.08.1813 at Eustace Street married Lucretia
Tardy eldest daughter of James Tardy and niece of Rev George Richards on 01.12.1841 at
Donnybrook.
13 Samuel Hone baptised 17.09.1815 at Eustace Street died 1830.
14 Dr James Ramsey Hone youngest son born circa 1818, MB 1843 died on 21.03.1846 aged
27 years and is buried at Mount Jerome.
15 Ellen Hone married William Edward Bolton on 26.08.1833 at Stillorgan Church.
