Charles Boileau married Marie Collot d'Escurry, they had at least seven children one of whom
(Simeon) settled in Dublin.
1 Simeon Boileau born 1 Oct 1717 Southampton married Magdalene de la Cour
de Brisay 6 Aug 1741 Dublin. She was the daughter of Theophilous De La Cour
Desbrisay and Magdelana Devergex Daubussargusshey. The couple had 18 children,
eight of whom died young, four sons married and of the four only 2 remained in
Dublin. Simeon died 1767 and is buried at Merrion Row as is Magdelene who
died 1786 age 66.

2 Theophilus Boileau born 25 Jan 1743 died unmarried.
3 Solomon Boileau born 31 Jan 1744 Dublin, married Dorothea Gladwell 14 May 1766
and had 18 children, 8 of whom died young. Solomon entered the army, lieutenant
in the 76th foot, he was involved in the 7 Year war. He returned to Dublin and
worked as a cashier in Finlay's Bank and lived at Queen Street. Dorothy died 4 May 1789
age 42. Solomon secondly married Lucy Slater. He died 1811 drowned in the River
Dee in England age 66.
1 Simeon Peter Boileau admitted to Lincolns Inn, became a Captain in the Royal
Surrey Rangers Fencible Infantry.

3 Henry Boileau born and died 1779.
4 Jaspar Desbrisay Boileau born 24 Aug 1780, died 4 May 1781.
5 Solomon Hugh Richard Boileau born 9 Nov 1781 Dublin, joined the army and
was in India by 1797. He died unmarried at Partabgarh, Uttar Pradesh 11 Apr 1810.
6 Lestock Francis Boileau born c1785 joined the Royal Navy. He married
Charlotte Packer 7 Mar 1826. He was living at Gorey, Co Wexford in 1845 and died
25 Mar 1849.
7 John Peter Wilson Boileau born c1787. He married May Clarke at
Meerut 31 Jul 1824. and died 6 Mar 1838 at the Cape of Good Hope.

6 John Peter Boileau born 15 Jul 1747 moved to India and married.

12 Thomas Boileau born c1753. Thomas became an attorney in Dublin, age 25 he
went to India where he was admitted as an attorney to the Supreme Court at
Bengal and married.
13 John Theophilus Boileau born 28 Dec 1755 in Dublin married Jane Wilson daughter
of George Wilson 4 Aug 1781 at St Brides Church, Dublin. John Theophilus remained
in Dublin and was engaged in his father-in-law's wholesale druggist business. in 1797 the
business became known as 'Boileau, Sons & George'. On the death of George Wilson it became
became 'John Theophilus Boileau, Druggists and when John's three sons joined, it became
'Boileau Brothers'. John died 22 Aug 1817 Dublin. Jane died 20 Sep 1851 age 93 at
Fitzwilliam Square north.

2 George Desbrisay Boileau born 1821 died of Typhus in June 1840 at Bride
Street.
3 John George Boileau born c1826 bought the family business and with
partner Mr Boyd traded as Boileau & Boyd. John died at Harcourt Tce
19 Feb 1883.

13 Solomon Boileau born 15 Mar 1800 Dublin, became a Lieut died without issue

14 George Wilson Boileau born 1793 married Anna Rebecca Phipps the daughter of
William Phipps of County Sligo in 1819. George continued on the family firm, in 1847
the firm became Boileau and Ussher at 92 Bridge Street. In 1853 it became Boileau
Brothers. In 1859 the firm went bankrupt. George resided at Woodview, Stillorgan,
Co Dublin. The firm phoenixed, George joined forces with Samuel Boyd at the old
premises of Boileau in Bride Street but were reported bankrupt again in 1860. Anna
died in 25 Aug 1866 at the home of her son in law (Thomas Speedy) Phoenix Park
aged 69. George died 1876.
1 Georgina Elizabeth Boileau, eldest daughter born 17 Oct 1820 at Bride Street,
married Lieut. Archibald J M Boileau MD of the Madras Engineers at Monkstown
Church 14 Feb 1845. Georgina died at 6 Lower Pembroke Street on 14 Jan 1846.
2 George Wilson Boileau born 26 Sep 1821 at Bride Street joined the British Army
became 2nd Lt 34 the Bengal Native Infantry 1839. George married Fanny Elizabeth
Knywett in India May 1860 and had 14 children and was a renowned big game
hunter.
3 Jane Boileau born c1822 married Thomas B Speedy of the 7th Royal Fusiliers at
Stillorgan Church 18 Jul 1848.

4 Martha Harriet Boileau born c1824 married Andrew Frazer JP of Demerara on
26 Jun 1851 at Stillorgan Church.
5 Isaac Spencer Barre Phipps Boileau born c1825, second son was a lieutenant in
the 94th Regiment. He died 20 Jun 1852 at Cannanore, Madras aged 26.
6 John George Boileau born 10 Dec 1826, Dublin.
7 William Phipps Boileau born c1827, fourth son joined the family firm and
married Louisa Mary Palmer Howell daughter of George Howell of Ferney on
31 Jul 1854 at St Saviours, Jersey. He went bankrupt in 1859. Louisa died
17 Jun 1869 at Brompton.

15 Samuel Brandrum Boileau born 15 Jun 1801, educated at Trinity but no graduation
found. He joined the 22 Regt of foot and married Frances True (Fanny) Bigham (Bigam)
of Mount Anville, in Taney Parish Church on 4 Jun 1823. Fanny was the second daughter
of Willian Bigam of Jamaica.

Guinness's for 47 years, married Grace Hayes 7 Sep 1882 at Taney Church
and died 1935 in Tiegnmount, Devon.
