and Susan Heron (1830-1891). William, a Stockbroker of 3 Waterloo Road married Anne
Kathleen Neilson only daughter of James H Neilson of 32 Lower Leeson Street in 1881.
William Moffat-Wilson formerly a partner in the late firm of Messrs R William and Sons
entered into partnership with Messrs Johnston and Low of 2 Foster Place in 1898.
1 Frank Hamilton Wilson born 04.02.1882 at 3 Waterloo Road.
2 Second Lieut Cecil Vere Wilson 2nd son born 16.06.1884 at 3 Waterloo
Road. Cecil an officer in the Royal Berkshire Regiment died 31.07.1916 aged
32 years of wounds received in action at Rouen.
3 Rev Geoffrey Moffat Wilson 3rd son born 27.11.1885 married Angel
Rainsford daughter of Frederick Joseph Rainsford in the Parish Church,
Shinrone on 18.07.1922. Geoffrey died 16.02.1939 aged 53 years at D’Israeli
School, Rathvilly, Carlow, leaving three young sons.

Guy of Balloo House, Groomsport youngest son of William Moffat-Wilson of
7 Sorrento Terrace, Dalkey and Grandson of the late Rev Hamilton Brown
Wilson DD of Cookstown married Edith McCrea Prenter youngest daughter
of Rev Samuel Prenter DD of Innisfree, Greystones on 02.06.1915 at the
Presbyterian Church, Greystones. They lived at Trentham from 1930 to 1939.
Guy died on 06.06.1944 aged 55 years at Ipswich Hospital. It was just about to
take up a new position at a school in Cashel. Edith died on 21.04.1953. They
were buried at St Andrew’s in Malahide.
