John Williams a gardener of Kilmacud married Margaret Connors. John had two sisters, Bridget and
Eliza who also lived in the village. They were born in County Dublin and were the daughters of a
gardener. Bridget Williams was a charwoman and laundress and died a spinster on 21 June 1903 at
Jolly's Lane, her niece Rose Byrne was the informant, and Eliza Williams was a charlady who died a
spinster on 20 Feb 1908 at Loughlinstown Workhouse. John died at Glenalbyn Cottages 14 Mar 1900
and was buried at Deansgrange. Margaret died on 26 Dec 1906 at Glenalbyn Cottages and was
buried at Deansgrange.
1 Denis Williams born circa 1863 in County Dublin was a gardener and general labourer in
1901 and 1911. He was noted as being deaf in 1911. He died a bachelor at Glenalbyn
Cottages on 24 Feb 1926 and was buried in Deansgrange with his parents.
2 John Joseph Williams born 3 Jul 1864 at Stillorgan. His spinster Aunt Eliza Williams was
present at the birth. He was a gardener and general labourer. He died a bachelor on
14 Jun 1918 at Kilmacud Road and was buried with his parents at Deansgrange.
3 Richard born 29 Apr 1867 at Kilmacud. He was living with his brother William and his sister
Mary Byrne in Stillorgan in 1911. He died a bachelor aged 49 at 2 Glenalbyn on 24 Dec 1927
and was buried with his parents.
4 Mary Anne Williams born 23 Jul 1869 at Kilmacud. She was a dressmaker of 9 Glen Albyn
Cottages and married James Byrne, a van driver of Dublin Road, Stillorgan, and son of Patrick
Byrne, a bootmaker of Stillorgan on 24 Feb 1908 at Kilmacud Church.
5 Rosanna (Rose) Williams born 9 Aug 1872 at Stillorgan. She was a dressmaker of Stillorgan
and married Joseph Byrne, son of Patrick Byrne at Kilmacud Church on 31 Jul 1901. Joseph was
a dairyman and they lived on the Dublin Road. Joseph a dairy owner died on 22 Dec 1927 aged
47 at 1 Glen Albyn and Rosanna died 20 Apr 1951 at 1 Glenalbyn Tce.

a motor dealer of Woodside Sandyford, and son of John Rothery, a general contractor at
Kilmacud Church on 30 Sep 1935. Michael trading as Rothery Bros had a quarry near
Enniskerry.

4 Glenalbyn Terrace and William died at 1 Glenalbyn Cottages on 16 Jun 1946, both were buried at
Deansgrange.
