Thomas Wallace born circa 1765 son of James Wallace of Bristol. He graduated
Trinity in 1793 and was called to the bar in 1798 and made KC in 1816. He was
an Irish Liberal Party politician and MP for Yarmouth from 1827 to 1830, Drogheda
1831 and County Carlow from 1832 to 1835. His first wife died in 1811 and he
secondly married Katherina Chapman, only daughter of John Chapman of Castle
Mitchel, County Kildare and granddaughter of Sir Robert Waller of Newport, at
Lea Church, Queens County in August 1815.
1 Rev Thomas Wallace, only son born circa 1816, graduated Trinity and was
called to the Bar in 1841. He married Sophia Mary Roberts, third daughter
of the Rev William Roberts of Llamfaelog at Beaumaris, Anglesey on
6 Apr 1847. He subsequently took Holy orders and was curate for St
Thomas’, then St Michan’s and by 1865 was incumbent of Kill O’ the Grange
parish church which was consecrated in 1864 by the Archbishop of Dublin,
Most Rev Dr Chevenix Trench, as a chapel of ease for Monkstown. Sophia
was on the ladies committee of the Adelaide Hospital and died 23 July 1894
aged 84, the Rev Thomas retired from Kill parish in 1890 and died 30 Jan 1899
leaving nearly 7K in personal estate. Both are buried at Mount Jerome.

Warwickshire at Kenilworth on 6 Feb 1882. The Rev Robert died
22 Apr 1900 at Beach House, East Teignmouth, Devonshire.
4 Norris Edmund Wallace born 29 Jan 1852 was called to the bar in
1874. He married Zaidee Eliza Orpen eldest daughter of H M Herbert
Orpen, assistant treasurer of Cape Town at St Georges’ Cathedral Cape
Town on 4 Jan 1883 and died 19 May 1883 at Cape Town.

6 Edith Katherine Maria Wallace baptised 29 Mar 1856 at Taney died

2 Martha Wallace, only daughter married Thomas Higenbotham Thompson, second
son of George Thompson of Clonskeagh Castle on 6 Feb 1836 at Taney Church.
1 George Thompson, eldest son born 8 Nov 1836 died 17 Apr 1865
aged 28.
2 Thomas Thompson, second son born circa 1840 died 10 Sep 1864

3 Robert Wade Thompson born circa 1846 graduated Trinity and was
called to the Bar in 1873. He was a captain in the Dublin Military Militia
and a JP for County Dublin. He married Edith Isabella Jameson, daughter
of Rev William Jameson and Eliza Guinness 10 Mar 1876 at Taney
Church. He hosted Boys Brigade inspections on the
grounds of Clonskeagh Castle from 1892. In 1915 he was elected DL for
County Dublin. In failing health he moved to the south of England and died
29 Jan 1919 at Campion House, Southdown Road, Southwick.

the Kerry Militia, son of the Ven Archdeacon Rowan of Belmont, Tralee
at St Peter's Church on 22 Jun 1859.
5 Ellen Wade Thompson, second daughter married Rev Walter T Turpin,
incumbant of the Albert Chapel at St Peter's Church on 13 Oct 1864.
6 Annie Thompson, third daughter married Major Oleff Gde Wet of the
51st Madras in Boulogne-sur-Mer on 22 Aug 1863.
7 David Allen Thompson died 5 Apr 1844 aged 4 months.
8 Arthur William Thompson attained the rank of major in the Dublin
Militia.
9 Louisa Elizabeth Thompson married Captain Eugene O' Sullivan de Terdek
of Chateau du Tedel, Belgium on 8 apr 1876 at St Marys Abbott’s Church
Kensington. Eugene was Captain in the Ler Chasseurs a piece, Belgium
Army, son of the late Hypolito O’Sullivan de Terdeck of Brussels and
grandson of the late Sir William H Palmer of Palmerstown and Kenmure.
10 Hamlet Wade Thompson, 5th son Ensign 25th Foot was shot accidently by
a fellow officer and died at Colombo, Ceylon on 22 Oct 1866.
