Telford Family of Stillorgan No 30

Thomas Telford a Gardener son of John Telford married Susan Mape daughter of William Mape a
Farmer of Donadea Castle in 1861.  He died at Burton Hall in 1890.

1              Maria Anne Telford born 23.05.1867 at Esker. Maria was present at the death of her father
                Thomas.

2              George Telford born 18.05.1872 at Rathangan.

3              Mary Jane Telford born 10.09.1874 at Curragh Camp and died 18.01.1882 aged 6½ years at
                Monkstown Avenue.

4              Edith Telford of 10 Waltham Terrace married James Doyle a Police Pensioner of 17 Iveagh
                Buildings, Bride Street son of James Doyle on 09.05.1909 at Booterstown Chapel, Blackrock. 
                James died on 06.03.1915 aged 61 years at 15 South Frederick Street.

                Edith then married William Henry Edwards a Steward of Kilmullen, Wicklow son of Henry
                Edwards on 26.12.1917 at St Ann’s Parish Church, Dublin.

5              Henry Telford born 06.10.1877 at Seafield, Stillorgan Road enlisted with the Royal Dublin
                Fusiliers was Killed in Action for 1 May 1917.
