3 Lieut Col Michael James Sweetman born 31.03.1865 at Clohamon married Adelaide Mary
(Elsie) Feilding daughter of late Rev and Hon Charles W.A. Feilding of Stapleton Rectory,
Salop on 22.08.1907 at St Mary’s Church, Cadogan Street, London. Michael and Adelaide
were visitors in the home of John Sweetman and Agnes Hanley in the 1911 Census. Michael
commanded the Second East Yorkshire Regiment at mobilisation for the Great War for which
he got the Order of the British Empire. He died 25.09.1922 and is buried at Bunclody.
Adelaide died on 27.06.1934 at the Orchard, Little Bookham, Surrey.
4 Margaret Gertrude Sweetman born 13.04.1867 at Clohamon. Margaret died on 09.05.1943
aged 75 years at a Private Nursing Home in Wexford.
5 Richard Sweetman born 17.11.1868 at Clohamon. Richard of the Royal Irish Regiment died
on 25.12.1898 aged 30 years at Mhow, India.
6 Mary Sweetman born 19.04.1871 at Clohamon.
7 John Francis Sweetman 3rd son born 20.05.1872 at Clohamon, Ferns, Wexford. Educated at
Downside School in Bath, he became a Benedictine Monk. John died on 28.03.1953 and is
buried at Mount St Benedict, Gorey.
8 Aloysius Sweetman born 19.06.1873 at Clohamon. Aloysius infant child died circa 1873.
