1 Lieut Charles Moore Sirée of 11th Regiment married Anne Hamilton daughter of
Hans Hamilton of Summerhill, Dublin on 23.10.1789. Charles attained the rank of
major and died in 1809. Anne Sirée late of Summerhill died 23.06.1827 at
Summerhill. Probate was to her spinster daughter Anne Sirée of Kelston in 1866.
1 Jane Hamilton Sirée eldest daughter died 01.03.1855 at 1 Upper Gloucester
Street.
2 Barbara Sirée born circa 1800 was living at Waltham Terrace with her sister
in 1870 and at Talbot House, Mount Merrion Avenue from 1871 to 1876.
She died unmarried on 17.07.1894 aged 94 years at 12 Alma Road,
Monkstown and is buried at Deansgrange.
3 Anne Sirée born circa 1802 living at Waltham Terrace in 1870 and in at
Talbot House from 1871 to 1876. She died unmarried on 12.05.1881 aged
79 years at 12 Alma Road, Monkstown.
4 John Hamilton Sirée born circa 1806 married Elizabeth Brabazon only
daughter of Charles Francis Brabazon of Eccles Street on 20.11.1833 at St
Georges Church. Elizabeth died 14.05.1838 at Gloucester Street.
1 Charles Moore Brabazon Sirée born circa 1835. He joined the army
in 1852 was with the 3rd Foot (later known as The Buffs) and
attained the rank of major. He was wounded in 1854 at the Battle
of Alma. Charles married Louisa Emma Palmer 3rd daughter of
Sandford Palmer of Ballinlough on 16.11.1865 at St Anne’s Church,
Dublin. Louise died 11.09.1908 aged 63 years at Kelston. Charles
retired in 1879.
Charles secondly married Augusta Hickson Lover daughter of
William Lover MD on 14.12.1909 at St Mary’s Donnybrook. Augusta
died on 26.02.1915 aged 79 years and Charles died 12.01.1918
aged 83 years both at 8 Brookfield Terrace.
John secondly married Anna Maria Samina Bayly on 17.10.1839 at St
Mary’s Church. John died 17.11.1863 at 1 Upper Gloucester Street, Dublin.
Probate to Charles Moore Brabazon Sirée. Anna died 26.09.1866 aged
55 years at Kelston and is buried at Deansgrange. Probate to son Francis.
2 Francis Palmer Hamilton Sirée 2nd son born circa 1845 was a half
brother of Charles. Francis a civil engineer of Kelston was charged
with having a loaded revolver on Newtown Park Avenue in 1867.
Francis died unmarried on 28.12.1887 aged 43 years at Farnham
House, Private Hospital, Finglas and is buried at Deansgrange.
2 Henry Sirée born circa 1772 of Gloucester Street married Harriet McCausland
in 1792 at St Paul’s Church. Harriet died 20.05.1838 and is buried Mount
Jerome.
1 John Sirée eldest son was resident at Gloucester Street and married Julia
Corry daughter of late Isaiah Corry of Monaghan in 1826. He was a
medical student and married Clementina Robertson in 1830. Clementina
was the daughter of Charles Robertson, a miniature-painter. Clementina
was also a miniature painter and exhibited at the Royal Hibernian Academy.
John died 17.05.1834 at the seat of Burton Tandy in Mornington, Drogheda.
Clementina was living and working at Price's lane off Fleet Street in 1845.
She died 30.12.1858.
2 Rev Henry Hamilton Sirée 2nd son married Elizabeth Brownrigg
daughter of Henry Thomas Brownrigg of Rathmines and relict of late John
Towell on 25.02.1839 at Batwick Church, Bath.
3 Lucinda Sirée born circa 1795 eldest daughter married Captain Alexander
Richardson of 58 Summerhill, Dublin on 19.01.1816 at Christ Church
Cathedral. Alexander died circa 13.06.1827. Lucinda married secondly
Dr Bayne Cheyne on 07.04.1828 at Emberton, Buckinghamshire.
Lucinda died 20.06.1866 at Dumfrieshire.
4 Caroline Maria Sirée 2nd daughter baptised 13.04.1797 at St Paul’s Church
married Rev Charles William Osborne son of Rev Charles Graydon Osborne
on 24.07.1823 at Taney Church. Charles formerly of Ballymagarvey, Meath
died on 14.09.1853 aged 54 years at Newport, Isle of Wight and Caroline
died 21.10.1870 aged 70 years and is buried at Mount Jerome.

is buried at Mount Jerome.
2 John Graydon Osborne born circa 1835 a bank manager son of
Rev Charles Graydon Osborne of Roscrea and nephew of Horatio
Sirée married Isabella Maria Walshe daughter of Thomas Henry
Walsh of Leeson Street on 28.04.1868 at St Stephen’s Church, Dublin.
Isabella died 16.07.1912 aged 67 years and John died 07.02.1916
aged 81 years at the Adelaide Hospital late 28 Belmont Avenue.

Westport. Thomas a Bank Manager married Margaret Dagg of
North Circular Road daughter of Thomas Dagg on 08.09.1909 at
St Patricks Roman Catholic Church, Belfast.
5 Harriet Sirée 3rd daughter married Daniel Charles Bastable an attorney of
Betty Ville, Cork on 16.08.1823 at Taney Church. Harriet died on 14.05.1837
at Gloucester Street. Daniel died on 17.01.1854 aged 60 years at 33 Rutland
Square.
6 Henry Oliver Sirée baptised 19.05.1799 at St Paul’s Church.
7 Horatio Nelson Sirée, born 1807 uncle of John Osborne married Catherine
Nelson Wiley a widow in 1833 at St Peter’s Church. Horatio was an MD and
apothecary. Catherine died 06.02.1837 at the Retreat, Drumcondra. Horatio
married secondly Anne Guinness. Anne was the 3rd daughter of John Grattan
Guinness of Montpelier Parade and the niece of Arthur Guinness. Horatio
died on 31.03.1876 aged 69 years at 77 Heytesbury Street. The informant was
Anne Wright of Blackrock. He is buried at Mount Jerome.
8 Rev Oliver McCausland Sirée youngest son born circa 1811 married Amelia
Jones daughter of Baynham Jones on 01.10.1840 at Cheltenham Parish
Church. Oliver died on 17.10.1841 aged 30 and Amelia died on 09.11.1867
both at Cheltenham.
1 Olivia McCausland Sirée born circa 1841 died unmarried on
16.06.1879 at Cheltenham.
9 Amelia Sirée youngest daughter married Benjamin Henry Baylee, a widower
and son of John Tyrell Baylee on 04.09.1838 at Bathwick Parish Church,
Somerset.
Henry Sirée married secondly Anne Charlotte Cooke daughter of William Harricks
on 10.04.1839 at St Peter’s Church, Dublin. Henry died on 23.12.1841 in London.
Anne died on 10.11.1867 at Sallymount Avenue, Ranelagh late of Gloucester Street.
