Patrick Robinson born circa 1834 son of John and Anna Robinson was a shoemaker of Stepaside
and married Bridget Shakspear on the 10 Oct 1859 at Sandford Church. Bridget was the daughter
of Richard Shakspear and Bridget Smyth of Fern Hill, Kilgobbin who rented 9 acres from William
Darley. Bridget died circa 1870.

4 Maria Bridget Robinson born in Stepaside 18 Feb 1868 married John Shannon at
Cabinteely Church on 1 Mar 1908.
5 John Robinson born in Stepaside 18 Feb 1869 was a labourer, he died at Kilgobbin on
24 Dec 1890. His sister Emily the informant.
Patrick Robinson secondly married Jane Rochford at Sandyford Church on 8 Jan 1872. Jane was a
servant from county Wicklow living in Kilgibbin. They were living at Cornelscourt by 1901. Patrick
had 20 children of whom 13 were still alive in 1911 and they were living at Cornelscourt in a house
owned by Bridget Rogan, publican (Cornelscourt Arms/Magic Carpet). Patrick died at Deansgrange
on 5 Jan 1914 and was buried at Deansgrange. Jane died 3 Jul 1914 at Rogan's Cottages,
Cornelscourt and was buried with her husband.
6 Bridget Robinson born 4 Nov 1872 at Kilgobbin. She was classed as an idiot and living with
her parents at Cornelscourt in 1901. Bridget, a spinster servant died at the workhouse on
19 Jun 1915 late of Cornelscourt.
7 Patrick Joseph Robinson born 20 Apr 1874 at Kilgobbin was a labourer. He married Anne
Rothery, a servant at Booterstown RC Church on 24 Jun 1896. Anne was the daughter of
John Rothery and was resident at Booterstown.

2 Isabella Robinson born 6 May 1898 at Deansgrange was a servant and died
5 Feb 1917 at the Hospice, Harold's Cross. She was buried at Deansgrange with her
grandmother.
3 Jane Robinson born 7 Jan 1900 at Deansgrange. Jane was a nurse and died a spinster
on 9 May 1930 at Dun Laoghaire and was buried at Deansgrange.
4 James Robinson born 1904 was an Irish National Soldier, he was wounded in Tipperary
and died a bachelor off Charlemont Street on 27 May 1923. He was buried with his
grandmother at Deansgrange.

6 William Robinson born 9 may 1911 at Deansgrange.
8 James Robinson born 5 May 1875 at Kilgobbin was a labourer and married Mary Christina
McDonald on 21 Jul 1926 at Ballybrack Church. Mary was a servant resident at Eversley,
Killiney and the daughter of Stephen McDonald, a herd.
9 Margaret Mary Robinson born 14 Jan 1877 at Kilgobbin.
10 Emily Mary Robinson was born 20 Oct 1878 at Kilgobbin. She worked as a cook for the
Hovenden family of Avonmore in 1901. She was working as a maid at Carrickmines when
she married Daniel Byrne at Cabinteely Church on 29 Apr 1931. Daniel was a gardener and
son of James Byrne, a labourer. Daniel was living at the Foxrock Hotel (a tenement by this
time). Daniel, a gardener died at Claremont Lodge, (see Hollywood House), Carrickmines
and died 29 Mar 1938 and was buried at Deansgrange. Emily died 1 Nov 1961 at 117
Deansgrange and was buried with her husband.
11 Jane Robinson born 21 Sep 1880 at Kilgobbin married Daniel Doyle at Cabinteely Church
on 19 Aug 1900. Daniel was a labourer and the son of James Doyle.
12 Peter Robinson born 24 Jan 1882 at Kilgobbin, a shoemaker living with his parents in
Cornelscourt in 1901. He was a labourer in 1902 and married Elizabeth Fitzharris, a servant
at Ballybrack Church on 26 Jan 1902. Elizabeth was the daughter of James Fitzharris and
was resident at Loughlinstown. They lived at Kill O’ the Grange and had at least four
children.
13 Joseph Robinson born 20 Apr 1883 at Kilgobbin, a shoemaker living with his father in
Cornelscourt in 1911.
14 Thomas Robinson born 13 Jul 1884 at Kilgobbin died 20 Jul 1884 at Kilgobbin, his sister
Elizabeth the informant.
15 Maria Robinson born 16 May 1886 at Kilgobbin living with her parents in Cornelscourt in
1901.
16 Thomas Robinson born 16 Nov 1887 at Kilgobbin a shoemaker living with his father at
Cornelscourt in 1911. Thomas married Mary Frances and died at Cornelscourt on 20 Jan 1935
and was buried at Deansgrange.
17 William Patrick Robinson born 18 Mar 1889 at Kilgobbin died 11 Apr 1891, his sister Emily the
informant.
