William Henry Richardson born 16.06.1789. He was the son of James Mervyn Richardson late
captain in the Regiment of Infantry and his wife Julia Story. He was admitted Kings Inns on the
affidavit of his uncle William Richardson of Hollyville Park. He was of Prospect House, Co Louth
and married Ann Mahon on the 05.08.1819 at St George's Church, Dublin. Ann was the only
daughter of Rev Thomas Mahon and Honoria Kelly of Gardiner Street. She was also the niece of
Lord Hartland (Maurice Mahon). William inherited Hollyville Park with 24 acres on the death of
Susanna Richardson, the wife of his uncle Colonel William Richardson of the Battleaxe Guards.
His aunt Susanna lived at Hollville after the death of her husband in 1808. She moved to 8
Grenville Street in 1811 and Hollville was rented out. Anne died at Prospect House on
16.03.1852 and was buried at Haynestown. William Henry died 11.08.1867 at Hollyville and was
buried with his wife.
1 Rev James Henry Richardson eldest son born circa 1820 and died on 18.08.1858 aged 38
years in the Rue Rivoli, Paris.
2 Honoria Theodosia Richardson eldest daughter born circa 1822 married Maxwell William
Boyle of Tullyvin on 24.10.1843 at Claremont Church. Maxwell died 19.09.1884 aged 62
years at Drumleague and Honoria died 02.01.1901 at Tullyvin House, Cavan.
1 Maxwell James Boyle born 16.01.1845 at Ashfield Lodge, Cavan. Maxwell of Knock
Lodge married Anne Mary Carter daughter of Richard Carter Deputy Clerk of the
Peace on 17.10.1872 at the Roman Catholic Chapel of St Nicholas in Galway. Annie
died on 07.07.1911 aged 57 years at Mary Street North the residence of her
son-in-law. Funeral to Drumcar.
1 Maxwell Thomas Moore Boyle only son born 11.08.1873 at Knock Lodge,
Barnaderg married Gretta Helen Mary Cameron of Lucan Lodge daughter of
Allan Cameron Assistant Inspector General RIC on 12.09.1899 at St Andrew’s
Church, Lucan.
2 Norah Anne Moore Boyle born 15.05.1875 at Barnaderg married John Joseph
Russell a widower and Sub Sherriff for County Louth son of Joseph Russell on
18.09.1901 at the Parish Church in Dalkey.
