2 Francis John Boxwell Quinlan baptised on 03.06.1834 at St Mary’s Pro Cathedral was
educated at Belvedere and Trinity College, Dublin. He was Professor of Materia
Medica in the Catholic University and physician to St Vincent’s Hospital. Francis
married Margaret Elizabeth Clare Carroll on 10.08.1867 at the University Church,
Stephens Green. Margaret was the daughter of William Carroll, MD and a Lord Mayor
of Dublin. Margaret died on 22.12.1892 aged 56 years at 29 Lower Fitzwilliam Street.
1 John Francis Pembroke Boxwell Quinlan born 02.07.1895 at 29 Lower
Fitzwilliam Street. He was a 2n Lt in the Royal Field Artillery and Royal Flying
Corps and was killed in action on 03.07.1916 aged 25 years in France.
Francis married secondly Ellen Thompson circa Jul-Sept in Holyhead. Francis died on
on 08.11.1900 aged 65 years at 29 Lower Fitzwilliam Street, Dublin.
