Mary’s, Dublin married Ambrose Hunt MD of Waterford son of Phineas Hunt on 26.08.1852 at
Booterstown Church. In 1901 the family were living at Temora, St James Road, Sutton,
Epson, Surrey in England. Ambrose died Oct 1905 Hendon. In 1911 the family were living at
292 Willesden Lane, Cricklewood, Middlesex.
1 Richard Purdy Hunt eldest son born circa 1854 died of Typhoid Fever on 08.06.1878
aged 24 years at King William’s Town, Cape Colony.
2 Phineas William Hunt born 18.01.1859 circa 1859 died 13.01.1935 aged 75 years at
Colchester County Hospital, Nova Scotia.
3 John Barton Hunt born circa 1861.
4 Mary C Hunt born circa 1863 living with her parents in 1901.
5 Annetta Dorothea Hunt born 21.04.1865 at Bridge Street, Dungarvan. Annetta was a
High School Mistress in 1911.
6 Elizabeth (Bessie) George Hunt born circa 1867. Bessie was a Music Mistress in 1911.
7 Ethel L Hunt born circa 1868 Dungarvan. Ethel was a Private School Mistress in 1911.
8 Lieut Ambrose Langley Hunt younger son born 29.09.1869 at Dungarvan died
05.10.1915 aged 46 years at Gallipoli.
9 Robert Purdy Hunt born circa 1870 infant died 1871 Dungarvan.
10 Annie Eva Hunt born 03.01.1872 at Dungarvan. Annie was a Private School Mistress
in 1911.
11 Grace Bertha Hunt born 14.06.1873 at Church Street, Dungarvan. Grace was a
Private School Mistress in 1911. Grace died on 25.10.1943 at Llandudno. Probate to
Annie Eva Hunt.
2 Annie Purdy born circa 1845 younger daughter married Major George Robert Walker of the
Royal Engineers, 2nd son of George Walker MD of Rose Ville, Bonmahon, Waterford on
13.04.1868 at St Stephen’s Church, Dublin.
1 Captain George Walker born 05.02.1869 at Cannanore, Madras, India. George of the
Royal Engineers married Louisa Elinor Weldon 4th daughter of Major General
Weldon, Fornaghts, Kildare on 14.02.1900 at St Judes’s, South Kensington. George
died on 05.12.1936 aged 67 years and Louisa died 21.09.1938 both of Corbridge,
Northumberland.
