Daniel Connor a farmer of The Ward son of James Connor married Eliza Moyles daughter of
Michael Moyles of Ballstown in 1869. Daniel was a farmer and grazier. Elizabeth died at Ward
House on 03.03.1899 aged 60. The family lived at Littleton from 1918 until 1963. Daniel died
10.08.1923 at Littleton, Stillorgan, late of the Ward House. Both are buried at Glasnevin.

on 22.05.1929 aged 58 years at Littleton, Stillorgan. Informant her sister Louise.
2 Elizabeth Josephine O’Connor born 27.06.1871 at The Ward and died on 19.01.1878
aged 6 years at same place. She is buried at Glasnevin.
3 Mary Agnes O’Connor born 07.10.1872 at The Ward. Mary a retired nurse died
unmarried on 16.03.1948 aged 75 years at Littleton. Informant her sister Louise.
4 James Joseph O’Connor born 22.05.1874 at The Ward. James was educated at
Clongowes, Terenure, and Castleknock Colleges. He qualified as a veterinary surgeon
in Edinburgh and married Maria Cecilia Murphy of 3 London Street, Edinburgh
daughter of James Murphy a grocer and his wife Isabella Clancy on 14.09.1905 at
St Mary’s Cathedral, Broughton Street, Edinburgh. Professor O’Connor accepted the
chair of the newly formed Dublin Veterinary College in Ballsbridge. He operated on
many animals and became quite famous when he operated on the brain of 'Windsor
Lad' a £50,000 racehorse at Newmarket in 1939. James was principal of the Royal College
of Veterinary Surgeons and first President of the Irish Veterinary Council and retired in
1940. Cecilia died on 10.01.1952 and James died on 08.11.1955 aged 81 years at 94
Lower Leeson Street late of 116 Morehampton Road, Donnybrook and they are buried
at Deansgrange.

solicitor married Kathleen Monica (Mona) O’Rourke daughter of Martin O’Rourke
of 30 St Albans Park on 06.10.1931 at Booterstown Church. Daniel died on
10.10.1969 aged 62 years at St Vincent's Hospital late of Koter, Vico Road,
Dalkey. Mona died on 22.08.1975 and is buried at Deansgrange.
2 James Desmond O’Connor born 21.04.1911 at 111 Morehampton Road. He
married Angela F Crilly of Cremona, Swords circa 20.01.1951 at St Columcille’s
Church, Swords.
3 Eileen Isabella O’Connor born 27.12.1915 at 116 Morehampton Road. Eileen
married Andrew Alan Donnelly on 11.06.1941 at the Roman Catholic Church,
Donnybrook. Alan was a solicitor and the son of Andrew Donnelly, a veterinary
surgeon.
5 Anastasia O’Connor born 13.03.1876 at The Ward and died unmarried on 04.10.1955
aged 79 years at Littleton.
6 Margaret Teresa O’Connor born 15.04.1877 at The Ward. Margaret Teresa living with
her family in 1901 and 1911 at The Ward, Dublin.
7 Michael Arthur O’Connor born circa 06.12.1878 at The Ward. Michael married Elizabeth
Forrest daughter of Robert Forrest of Castleview, Blarney on 19.11.1919 at the Roman
Catholic Church in Blarney. Michael died on 03.12.1943 aged 55 years at Littleton,
Stillorgan.
8 Louise Josephine O’Connor born 24.11.1884 at The Ward. Louise a retired matron
died unmarried on 23.07.1963 at St Columcille’s Hospital late of Littleton, Stillorgan.
