McDonald Family of Dunardagh, Blackrock and Herbert Hill, Dundrum

Michael McDonald a Coachman living at Dunardagh, Blackrock son of James McDonald married
Catherine Phelan of Ashbrook, Blanchardstown daughter of William Phelan in 1888.  They lived at
Dunardagh until at least 1895.  By 1900 they were living at Herbert Hill, Dundrum.  After the death
of their son Michael in 1904 the family moved to County Meath

1            Mary Emily McDonald born 21.10.1890 at Dunardagh, Blackrock.

2            Michael McDonald born circa 1895 died of TB on 21.05.1904 aged 9 years at St
              Vincent’s Hospital late of Herbert Hill.

3            William Peter McDonald born 30.06.1900 at Herbert Hill, Dundrum married Sarah
              Agnes Witherington on 06.04.1931 at St Joseph’s Church, Birkenhead. Sarah a widow
              died on 11.12.1962 at 58 St Stephens Green late of 101 Trees Road, Mount Merrion.
