and had moved to the east end of London by 1902. Solly married Jenny Marie (Mary)
Yager in 1906 at Whitechapel. He was living at New Road, Whitechapel in 1917 when
he was fined for altering his date of birth on his identity card from 1878 to 1876, it was
suggested that this was possibly to avoid military service. He was a silk and woollen
merchant of No 3 Margery Park Road and 42 New Road E1 and applied for naturalization
in 1928. They were soft goods and woollen merchants of Henry Street, Dublin by 1931
and bankrupt in 1932. They lived at 125 Rathgar Road from 1932 and Solly was still
resident there in 1941. He died 10 Nov 1950 at 29 Wasdale Park, Terenure, the home of

Terenure from 1942 to 1950. Moss leased Harlech in 1945 from Lucy Jeffares nee
Whitney and used it for breeding and kennelling dogs. His lease was cut short
by court order due to his non upkeep of the property, allowing dogs in the house

Mike and his brother Moss set up the First National Irish Film Corporation,

installed equipment from the Limegrove Studios in England which had been

were in Irish. Production seems to cease in 1950. Mike married Palmina Bruna
