Jane was the daughter of Joshua Wright and Ann King of Coolbawn, Co Wexford.
William died 13 Nov 1821 at Peartree Hill and was buried at Ballinderry. Jane died
7 Aug 1830 at Peartree Hill.

2 Thomas Lamb born circa 1752. Thomas Lamb of The Maze, Lisburn married Dorothy
Wright on 9 Mar 1794 at Carlow Meeting House at Kilconnor. Dorothy was the
daughter of Joshua Wright of Coolbawn, Co Wexford. Thomas Lamb a farmer of
Peartree Hill. Thomas was the guardian of Alexander Turney Stewart from 1816.
Alexander would later be known as the Merchant Prince of Manhattan. Thomas died
11 Dec 1825 at Peartree Hill. Dorothy died 23 Jan 1843 aged 83 at Peartree Hill. Both
were buried at Ballinderry.

23 Dec 1830. Mary was the daughter of Samuel & Sarah Douglas from Belfast
Joshua was a farmer of Peartree Hill, near Lisburn. He was a member of the
Lisburn Relief Committee in the 1860’s. Joshua died 18 Dec 1866 at Peartree Hill
and was buried at Lisburn Quaker cemetery. Mary died at Brookvale, Stillorgan
on 15 Dec 1881 aged 75.
1 Sarah Douglas Lamb eldest daughter born 25 Oct 1831. She was a school
mistress and died a spinster from cancer on 6 Oct 1882 at Bloomfield
Retreat, Morehampton Road, Dublin and was buried at Temple Hill,
Blackrock.
2 Dorothea (Dora) Lamb born 23 Mar 1833 at Peartree Hill died a spinster
on 5 Feb 1915 at Meath House, Bray and was buried at Temple Hill,
Blackrock.
3 Maria Lamb born 11 Nov 1834 at Peartree Hill married Joseph Waring on
24 Sep 1857 at Lisburn Meeting House.
4 Anna Elizabeth Lamb born 25 Dec 1836 at Peartree Hill. She was a
teacher in the Friends Mountmellick school and by 1879 she had set up a
Select Boarding School for Girls at Brookvale, Stillorgan along with Annie
Bolton fellow ex-Mountmellick teacher. They prepared their students for
the Trinity College Examination. In 1883 they moved the school to
Ardnagrena, Dodder Road, Rathgar to accommodate more students.
Anna died a spinster from cancer 20 Nov 1887 at Ardnagrena, Rathgar.
She was buried at Temple Hill, Blackrock. Miss Annie Barton the
informant.
5 Thomas Lamb born 20 Aug 1838 at Peartree Hill married Lucy Day
Ridett on 15 Mar 1866 at Lisburn Meeting House.
6 Charlotte Lamb born 29 Aug 1840 at Peartree Hill died 4 Sep 1915 at
Bloomfield, Donnybrook and was buried at Temple Hill, Blackrock.
7 Samuel Douglas Lamb youngest son born 12 Jan 1843 at Peartree Hill.
He married Sarah Maria Davis on 22 May 1872 at Friends Meeting House,
Bessbrook. Sarah was the only daughter of Francis S Davis of Bessbrook.
Samuel was a linen manufacturer of Armagh. He later became a property
developer and built 13 houses in Lucknow and Benares Street in Belfast.
In 1903 he was found to be of unsound mind and the properties were
sold off by the courts. He died at the Retreat House, Donnybrook on
1 Apr 1909. Sarah was living at Bridge Street, Newry in 1911.

6 Maria Lamb born 6 Aug 1804 at Lisburn. She married William Webb on
21 Aug 1825 at Lisburn Meeting House and moved to Belfast. William was
secretary of the Female Servants’ Friend Society. They had at least nine
children and moved to Dublin in 1848. She was an author and in 1857 published
Annotations on Dr D'Aubigné's Sketch of the Early British Church….., followed by The
Fells of Swarthmoor Hall…. and in 1860 The Penns and the Peningtons ….They were
living at Dunville Avenue in 1860 and Palmerston Road by 1866. Maria died
8 Jan 1873 at 7 Palmerton Road and was buried at Temple Hill, Blackrock. William
died 29 Apr 1878 at Palmerston Road and left 2K in personal estate.
1 William Henry Lamb born circa 1838 was an iron shipbuilder in the
partnership Messrs Walpole, Webb & Bewley. He drowned in Lough Neag
near Randalstown on 28 May 1870.
