John Keogh of Mount Jerome born circa 1740 married Catherine. John married Mary Drew circa
1781. John died 13.11.1817 aged 77 years and his wife Mary died 01.12.1823 aged 66 years both at
Mount Jerome. They are buried at St Kevin's, Camden Row Old Graveyard.
1 Abilgail Keogh eldest daughter baptised 21.02.1777 at St Andrews married Edward Ryan of
Corkerenstown, Kildare circa 25.02.1803.
2 Cornelius Keogh baptised on 15.05.1778 at St Andrew’s Church married Catherine. Catherine
died on 29.03.1862 in Paris at an advanced age.
3 John Alexander Keogh of Lisalea 2nd son baptised 02.05.1780 at St Andrew’s married Miss
Dunne of Leinster Lodge, Kildare with a fortune of 1,200L a year circa 29.09.1812. John then
married Mary Alicia King in 1826. John died on 10.09.1854 aged 75 years and is buried at
Prospect Cemetery. Mary died on 27.11.1868.
1 Thomas Dunne Keogh eldest son born circa 1817 married Melesina Lavinia Richards
widow of Joseph Capel Fitzgerald of Cloghroe, Cork on 26.09.1848 at Inniscarra, Cork.
Melesina died on 27.09.1853 at her residence Cloghroe, Cork and Thomas died of
smallpox on 05.02.1872 aged 55 years at the Mater Hospital.
2 Robert John Keogh born circa 1825 of Rathbourne, Kilkenny grandson of late John
Keogh of Mount Jerome married Anna Vavasour Temperance Jennings 2nd daughter of
Richard Jennings on 11.03.1862 at Delgany. Robert died on 23.12.1880 aged 55 years
at Bonnybeg and Anna died on 31.08.1907 aged 68 years at Sutton.

3 Robert John Keogh born 17.02.1870.

3 Alice Mary Keogh youngest daughter married Henry Taafe Ferrall on 07.08.1855 at
Haddington Road. Henry died on 25.08.1898 aged 76 years and Alice died on 30.12.1906
both at 73 Merrion Square.
4 Major Anthony Robert Keogh born circa 1836 late 14th Prince of Wales Own Yorkshire
Regiment of Woodside, Southsea married Ellen Mary Blair in 1867 in Victoria. Anthony
died in 1922 at Yarmouth.
1 Alice Muriel Keogh eldest surviving daughter born 01.12.1879 married Charles
Jennings Wiltshire in 1903.
4 George Drew Keogh 3rd son baptised 19.12.1782 at St Andrew’s married Ellen Plunkett on
21.08.1809 at St Mary’s Newington, Southwark. George married Catherine Lewis on
22.05.1828 in West Hackney. George was Secretary to the Saint Joao del Rey Mining
Association. George died on 22.09.1861 at 20 Randolph Road, Maida Hill, Paddington.

4 Harriet Keogh died circa 1863 after her dress accidently caught fire circa 21.02.1863 at
her mothers house in Maida Hill.
5 Mary Keogh born circa 1786 and died 20.04.1804 aged 18 years and is buried at St Kevin’s.
6 Michael Keogh 4th and youngest son of Geeyagh, Sligo died 02.07.1867 at Glencourt, Bray.
