Luke Kelly, a labourer and son of John Kelly, a gardener married Martha Stephens at Dunganstown
C of I Church on 21 Jan 1869. Martha was the daughter of James Stephens, a labourer and was
working as a servant at the time of her marriage. Martha was living at Stillorgan and working as a
char lady in 1901. She was the widow of Luke Kelly and died at Loughlinstown Workhouse on
2 Sep 1903, late of Newtown Park and was buried at Deansgrange.
1 Robert Kelly born circa 1883 in Co Wicklow married Christina Morrissey of 28 Sweetman's
Avenue, daughter of Nicholas Morrissey, a baker on 19 Jul 1903 at Booterstown RC Church.
Robert was living at Orchard Lane Newtown Park and was a labourer. In 1911 they were
living at Jolley’s lane and had two children, of whom one survived. By 1918 the family were
living at 16 Brookfield Buildings in Blackrock.

2 Robert Christopher Kelly born 14 Dec 1905 at 10 Kerrin’s Court Blackrock died
16 Jan 1908 at The Village, Newtown Park and was buried at Deansgrange.
2 John Kelly born 24 Mar 1872 at Barndarrig in Co Wicklow. He was a labourer and married
Bridget Morrissey, daughter of Nicholas Morrisey, a baker on 27 Sep 1909 at St John’s,
Blackrock. Bridget was his sister in law and working in a laundry, living at 7 Temple Road,
Blackrock at the time of her marriage. In 1911 they had one child who hadn’t survived. Bridget
died 4 Nov 1918 at the Workhouse, Loughlinstown late of Blackrock.

Road and was buried at Deansgrange.
