Michael Heaslip, a tradesman and basketmaker of Cork.
1 Daniel Heaslip born circa 1865 in Cork. He was a servant of 4 St Mary’s Place, Popes
Quay, Cork and married Ellen Sullivan a housemaid of Newmarket daughter of John
Sullivan on 28.04.1892 at St Finbarr's Chapel, Cork. They were living in Shankill in
1901 and Daniel was working for Heffernan Considine in Farmhill, Roebuck in 1911.
Ellen died 11.10.1942 aged 75 at St Kevin's Hospital late of 8 Howard Street Ringsend
and was buried at Deansgrange. Daniel died 25.06.1949 (87) at Holy Family House,
Roebuck and was buried with his wife.
1 Paul Michael Heaslip born 29.06.1893 at Ballyhooley Road, Cork. Paul a chauffeur
of 3 Avoca Place married Margaret Mary Ward of 1 Avoca Terrace daughter of Robert
Ward on 09.06.1918 at the Roman Catholic Church in Blackrock. Witnesses John
O’Reilly and Mary Ward.
2 John Heaslip born 31.07.1894 at Montenotte, Cork. John Heaslip of 6 Georges Place,
Dun Laoghaire a motor driver married Elizabeth Jane McClatchie daughter of William
McClatchie of 9 Anglesea Street and Alma Nurseries Monkstown on 12.11.1924 at St
Andrews Church, Dublin. Witnesses William McClatchie and Elizabeth Frances Whitar.
Elizabeth died on 03.08.1951 aged 54 years at Monkstown Hospital late of Rockville
Lodge, Blackrock. Informant daughter Elizabeth Whittern. John died on 25.08.1979 at
1 Kileen Road, Rathmines. They are buried at Deansgrange.

3 Daniel Joseph Heaslip born 17.05.1897 at Crinken, Bray. Joseph a Taxi Driver of 12
Mellifont Avenue, Dun Laoghaire married Christina Gallagher of 25 Library Road, Dun
Laoghaire on 13.05.1923 at the Roman Catholic Church of Dun Laoghaire. Witnesses
James Nolan and Kathleen Harris.
4 James Heaslip born circa 1900 Dublin working at the Central Asylum, Dundrum married
Margaret Furlong of Roebuck daughter of John Furlong on 10.10.1934 at the Church of
Holycross, Dundrum. Witnesses William Heaslip and Mary Crawford. James died on
27 May 1950 and was buried at Deansgrange.
5 William Heaslip born circa 1906 Dublin. William of Rosslyn Park Lodge, Sandymount a
chauffeur married Margaret Mary Kelly of 24 Seafort Villas, Sandymount daughter of
John Kelly on 21.06.1937 at the Roman Catholic Church of Sandymount. Witnesses
John Kelly and Mary Croft.
2 James Heaslip born circa 1876 in Cork was a groom. He married Mary (Minnie) O'Neill at
St Finbarr's Chapel on 29 Sep 1895. Minnie was the daughter of John O'Neill, a labourer.
James was a coachman and was working at the Glebe House in Queenstown in 1897 and they
were living at Ormond Quay in 1901. By 1911 James was working for Walter Browne at
Rockville.
