William an electrical engineer son of William Ryan a Stockbroker married Edna Kathleen
Glass of 10 Herbert Street daughter of David Glass on 20.06.1935 at Adelaide Road
Church. Witnesses: Leslie S Seldon Thompson and Doris Elizabeth Glass. William was on
the board of the Adelaide Hospital and died on 17.05.1965 aged 57 years at Brookvale,
Brewery Road, Stillorgan. Informant: H G Ryan, son. William is buried at St Brigid’s
Church, Stillorgan with his wife Edna.

Hardinge a Civil Engineer of 15 Edward Street, Tralee married Mary Pilkington Dunlop only
daughter of Henry Wallace Doveton Dunlop of 41 Belgrave Square, Rathmines on 16.10.1906 at
Holy Trinity Church, Rathmines. Witnesses: Edythe Marie Ryan and J Walter Doherty.

St George’s Church. Elizabeth Fenwick sister of Mary living with the family in 1901 at 29 Upper
Pembroke Street. Elizabeth died 13.03.1906 at 19 Eaton Square and is buried at Deansgrange.
*Kathleen Thompson sister of Edythe was accidently poisoned by drinking carbolic acid instead of port
wine on 11.11.1909 aged 33 years at Eaton Square and is buried at Deansgrange.
*Alice Thompson sister of Edythe was discovered dead on the kitchen floor of 19 Eaton Square on
08.03.1936 aged 54 years and identified by her nephew William Ryan of Rathfarnham and is buried at
Deansgrange.
