Elizabeth Dupré (Lizzie) Wilson eldest daughter of John Wilson JP of Daramona House, Westmeath.
The ceremony was performed by Rev Launcelot Edgeworth brother of the bridegroom.
Thomas was educated at Marlborough College and was a Land Agent in Westmeath and Longford.
He was secretary to the Grand Jury of Longford and was appointed first Secretary of the Longford
County Council.

1 Colonel Kenneth Essex Edgeworth elder son born 26.02.1880 at Cornacausk, Street,
Westmeath. His uncle William Wilson who was the owner of Daramona built an observatory
there. Kenneth won a scholarship to Marlborough at the age of 14 and from there attended
the Royal Military Academy. He served in the Royal Engineers during the First World War.
Whilst on leave from the army in 1916 Kenneth met and married Isabel Mary (May) Eves nee
Pigott of 174 Holland Park Avenue the Widow of Arthur Francis Eves and daughter of late
John French Pigott on 23.08.1917 at the Parish Church, St James Norlands, Kensington.
Kenneth a theoretical astronomer was best known for proposing the existence of a disc of
bodies beyond the orbit of Neptune circa 1930. It was later known as the Edgeworth-Kuiper
belt. He retired in 1926 and then spent 5 years in the Sudan in the Department of Posts and
Telegraphs before returning to Cherbury in 1931. In 1965 Kenneth aged 85 years published
his autobiography, Jack of all Trades: The Story of My Life. Isabel died on 20.04.1867 aged 83
years at Cherbury. Kenneth died on 10.10.1972 aged 91 years and they are both buried at
Deansgrange.
2 Ethel Marion Edgeworth born 20.03.1882 at Daramona House, Street, Westmeath. Ethel
died unmarried on 14.06.1967 aged 85 years at Highfield, Swords Road, Dublin and is buried
at Deansgrange.
3 Major John Agnew Edgeworth Royal Engineers younger son born 30.01.1884 at Cornacausk
married Annie Leah Furnell only daughter of late George Cantillon Furnell of Ballyclough
House and Caherelly in June 1917 at St George’s , Hanover Square, London.
