31.03.1886 at Ballygilbert, Bangor. Witnesses: Robert Jamison and George Dixon jun, Alex
was present at the death of his mother in 1899. Elizabeth died on 19.06.1919 at the Ard
House and Alexander a nurseryman died on 17.05.1949 aged 91 years of the Ard House.

Edith G Cuming nee Clarke daughter of John Clarke a Merchant and widow of James Hening
Cuming on 12.11.1901 at Cliftonville Presbyterian in Belfast. Witnesses: Thomas Dickson and
Mary Clarke. In 1905 Alexander Dickson & Sons Ltd purchased Oakley when the Nursery was sold
by the Sherriff. Andrew took over the management of Oakley for the Company. Edith died on
15.06.1907 of Braddyl Terace, Ulverston.

2 George Denis Clarke Dickson younger son born circa 1906 in England was living in
Stillorgan in 1911. He married Catherine Brown, daughter of Percy Brown of Collingwood
House, Witham, Essex at St Nicholas' Church Witham on 18.06.1932.
Andrew then married Mary Williamson elder daughter of William Williamson on 21.07.1910 at
St Ronan’s, Kilcaldy, Scotland. Andrew traded from Oakley Park as the Dublin Nursery Company
from 1922. Oakley Park was for sale in 1937. Andrew died on 19.06.1963 aged 90 years at Grant
Avenue, Clinton, Edinburgh.
