Deansgrange.
3 Major Henry Hugh Peter Deasy born 29.06.1866. Henry of the 16th Queens Lancers founder
of the Deasy Motor Company married Dolores Mercedes Hickie daughter of Colonel Hickie
of Slevoyre, Tipperary on 19.01.1901 at St James’s, Spanish Place, London. Henry died on
24.01.1947 aged 81 years at Cnoc na Faire, Carrigahorig, Birr.

a Captain with the Irish army, and a member of the Labour Party. He was President of
the National Farmers Association of Ireland between 1961 and 1967.
