Nathaniel Creed son of Nathaniel and Jane Creed baptised at St Nicholas Without on 08.10.1749.
In 1800 Nathaniel of Owenstown and of Great Ship Street was an Army Livery Lace Manufacturer.
In 1804 his house in Great Ship Street was purchased for use by the Government and he moved
the business to 15 Dame Street. By 1804 he was living at Springfield in Roebuck. Nathaniel died
17.04.1805 and was buried at Taney.

Rebecca ran the business after her husband died and in 1820 she put the business up for sale
including the stock of the Fancy Fringe and Tassel Business for use on coaches. It was taken
over by George Nesbitt. Rebecca died on 25.07.1834 at the home of her son in law Francis Percy
in Kinsale.
1 Maria Creed born circa 1792 eldest daughter married James Allen Heyland on 23.12.1819 at
Taney Church. Maria died 08.12.1830 aged 38 years and James died 11.12.1837 aged 53
years. Both are buried at Taney graveyard.
2 William Nathaniel Creed eldest son born circa 1794 died 13.06.1815 aged 21 years and
was buried at Taney.
3 Rebecca Creed youngest daughter married Francis Percy on 14.11.1826 at St Andrew’s
Church and they moved to Kinsale. Francis of Newcastle, Limerick became an Assistant
Inspector General RIC. Francis died on 09.03.1882 at 14 Merrion Square aged 85 years.
For some years they lived at Janeville in Stillorgan, Francis being a Parochial nominator
for Stillorgan Parish in 1876.
1 Rebecca Percy married John Hamilton a Surgeon of Westland Row the son of John
Hamilton on 01.02.1853 at Drumcondra Church. John was President of the Royal
College of Surgeons and Consulting Surgeon to the Richmond Hospital. John died on
02.11.1875 at 14 Merrion Square aged 66 years.
4 James Joseph Creed born circa 1801 died 18.04.1825 aged 24 years and was buried at
Taney.
5 Nathaniel Creed infant son born circa 1804 died 17.01.1805 aged 11 months and was buried
at Taney.
6 Rev John Charles Creed AM Vicar of Killaliathan, Limerick married Maria Harding daughter of
Christopher Harding of Harding Ville, Cork, and Grand-daughter of Rev William Butler Odell
on 20.04.1847 at Kilboline, Cork. Rev John Charles Creed died of Cholera on 24.07.1850 at
Shannon Street, Limerick and Maria died on 25.02.1875 at Harding Ville aged 47 years.
1 John Charles Creed born circa 1851 took Holy orders. He married Edith Redfern
Hughes daughter of James Freeman Hughes on 02.07.1873 at Stillorgan Parish Church.
At the time of his marriage John was living at Janeville, Stillorgan.
1 Percy Redfern Creed born 13.05.1874 baptised at Stillorgan Parish Church.
2 Evelyn Grace Hamilton Creed born 26.08.1875 at the Grove baptised at
Stillorgan Parish Church.
4 Rebecca Edith Creed born 20.01.1877 at The Grove baptised at Stillorgan Parish
Church.
3 Charles Odell Creed born 25.07.1879. at Moyglare Glebe in Celbridge. Second
Lieutenant of the Grenadier Guards died of wounds at Rouen on 02.06.1915.
