Denis Daly eldest son of J M Daly of Castle Daly married Isabella Creagh Norcott on 22 Nov 1829
at Buttevant. Isabella was the eldeast daughter of James Norcott of Springfield. Co Cork. Denis
was living at of Castle Daly, Moate, Co Westmeath and appointed a magistrate in 1841. Isabella
died at widow on 28 Jan 1876 at Ardenville, Co Cork.
1 Harriette Emily Daly died 16 May 1907 in England.
2 Isabella Jane Daly, second daughter born circa 1840, married George Graham Adamson
and died age 19 on 6 Jan 1859.
3 Henry King Daly, 3rd son born circa 1835, died 12 Aug 1877 at Moate.
4 George Frederick Daly, 4th son married Aileen Phair, eldest daughter of the Rev J P Phair
at Buttevant on 3 Oct 1876.

at Buttevant on 28 Apr 188.
7 Arthur Creagh Daly, youngest son born circa 1846 married Amelia Blanche Trousdell of
Alverstoke, Hampshire, England at St Anne's Church, Dublin on 17 Sep 1889. She was the
daughter of late John Trousdell, surgeon, Royal Navy. She was given away by surgeon William
Ireland Wheeler. They lived at Kilmacud House from 1895. Arthur died 27 Apr 1918 at
Kilmacud House and left 5k in personal estate. Probate was to his daughter Constance.
Amelia died 18 Jul 1939 at Tir-na-Oig, Bray, the home of her son.
