William Cogan born circa 1829 in Dublin City married Elizabeth Gorman at St Michael's
Church, Kingstown on 22.05.1859. William was the railway station master at Stillorgan
from 1869 to 1895 when his son took over. Elizabeth died 11.03.1903 at the station
house and William died 04.06.1906 at the station house.
1 William Joseph Cogan baptised 13.08.1860 at Rathmines married Mary Pluck daughter
of William Pluck of Kilgobbin on 07.07.1903 at Sandyford Chapel. William was the
station master at Stillorgan from 1895 until his death. He died on 02.12.1919 aged 55
years at Stillorgan Railway Station. Mary died 21.07.1942 aged 68 years at the Meath
Hospital late of Belmont House, Blackrock and is buried at Deansgrange.

Station House. William a gardener of 4 Galloping Green married Brigid
O’Donnell of 3 Galloping Green daughter of Thomas O’Donnell on 09.02.1943
at the Roman Catholic Chapel in Blackrock. Brigid died on 17.12.1966 aged 62
years at St Mary’s Hospital, Phoenix Park of 4 Galloping Green and is buried at
Deansgrange. William died circa 1984.
2 Anne Cogan born circa 1862 died at having her arm amputated on 4.10.1883 at
Stillorgan station house.
